The vampire did think too much, far too much, his thoughts a fleeting array of every changing considerations that Frost found wholly difficult to seize upon with his fledgling ability in this regard. He was becoming more proficient, slowly and yet thoughts in regard to himself had by far become the easiest to read, more private thoughts, such as those the vampire before him seemed to indulge in were still...difficult for him to read, no more than the occasional snapshot passing through and truly it took more effort that he truly cared to expend upon tonight. Indeed the only thing the telepathic horse had truly managed to glean from the man before him in those moments when the equine had managed to notice them at all, was that he was quite the wealthy fellow- then again, a lot of vampires were. Eventually, he supposed, they simply reached a point in their existences where they simply had done everything they desired to do and collecting money remained there sole hobby. Hmm, if only he himself retained that ability. The vampire's assurance that he jogged for 'enjoyment' was met with the slight lift of one eye somewhere beneath that wild expanse of snowy hair, considering the man before him almost critically once more as if offers some sort of self-depreciating joke. Whether vampires truly slept in crypts or not Frost had hardly ever asked and yet he suspected that such a thing was untrue in the same manner that he himself did not sleep in a stable.

"I see."

It is all he offers by way of answer, deep baritone voice slipping smoothly into the evening air before the strange violet of his gaze narrows once more at the man's query as to why he had been 'prancing' about at this hours, a soft snort emitted as Frost proceeds to lean back against the side of the building, arms folded over his ill-fitting shirt.

"I do not 'prance' as for who was following me I am assured that for now, at least, they have given up on their goal. I would hear them if they were close, though perhaps we should move all the same in case they are still searching. I am not particularly......popular with a certain hunter in these parts."

His shoulders shrug loosely, as if such information is hardly concerning, the equine seeming unconcerned with the potential disaster he may well have brought down upon his companion all the same as the other man takes up his hand for the briefest of moments.

"As for why I was a horse I was originally not in town, I was near the outskirts where my equine form is far less obvious. I was simply dealing with....business that needed to be taken care before I was interrupted. You understand business don't you, Dareios?"

There is a subtlety of sorts within the words, the barest indication that the seemingly harmless query is searching for more as something almost akin to a simper seems to flicker ever so briefly upon the younger man lips before fading back into that ever present façade of seeming indifference he wore so well. He shifts slightly, leaning forward to move away from the wall at last, inclined to head back towards the residences now and his own home- assured the vampire was surely going the same direction, offering him an unusual companion for the evening and yet perhaps this Dareios had more value then he appeared too.

"Are you a gambling man?"

His lyrics remain smooth, cool, offered so seemingly harmlessly to the other man in the night. Perhaps it was time to see what this Dareios was truly made of.
