There was a grin suddenly mirrored upon his handsome masculine features - it was the kind of simper that made Chizue painfully aware that she was very much the prey in this particular scenario. She was the bug caught within the spider's web. Only this spider was fascinating and preferred to toy with the butterfly that had so unintentionally flew within it's path. Still - no matter what gilded words he might have presented Chizue with, she was no fool. She hardly bought into the notion that wished to be ruled. She wanted love, surely. What young girl didn't? But love was certainly different then subservetitude, that much Chizue was quite certain of. Still, she was a smart girl, knowing all too well he would hardly tolerate such an outburst on her own personal thoughts - not that she was oft to share them in the first place. She knew her life was precariously held within the balance. It was better, she concluded, to say nothing at all rather than to be so terse. Instead, the young woman's gaze fell into her lap, her lips pressing together in a fashion of polite silent distaste that perhaps only her ethnicity had managed to master.

Her deep chocolate gaze rose only at the salacious sound of his husky baritone lyrics. Although such a tone had never been directed to Chizue herself, she had heard it before on her numerous occasions of people watching, enough so to understand the implications of it. A bright pink hue immediately caressed the apples of her cheeks but Chizue wasn't sure if she truly believed he might think of her in such a fashion. After all - she was a vampire. And certainly not the prettiest vampire either. "I...um..." She started, nearly stuttering in her bashfulness as the sheer notion of them in any intimate fashion. She shook the thought from her head, almost happy that he decided to shift the topic of conversation at her surrender rather than the cruelty of leading her on when she knew they were an impossibility.

A soft sigh left the lips of the young woman at the certainty of the man in front of her. Chizue didn't doubt that he believed himself - that he believed that she was capable of such greatness. However, Chizue had lived for nearly two centuries now. She was fairly steadfast in what her capabilities were, or at least so she thought. "I hope you're right." She responded with some measure of optimism, even if it was entirely jaded by the simple fact that if she failed, she knew all too well it'd end with a stake within her breast. He certainly had a way of making the young girl feel....pressured. Regardless of her worries however, her reservations fell upon her at full force when he insisted that he come with her - to live. "I -- " She started, her voice dying immediately as the man continue to his only rule. It was the very rule in which she was moments away from protesting. For a moment, Chizue merely eyed the man with a growing sense of forlornness at the thought of giving up the hotel room she had grown accustomed too. The corner of her petite mouth dipped in a small frown, her dark gaze fallen to her feet as if to try to somehow keep herself together. Her voice was a soft whisper, one that spoke of the importance of this matter to the oriental doll "May I get my things first?"
