WHAT A GORGEOUS DISGRACE

I admit it; I was as bad as a guy sometimes when it came to an attractive woman. Just as they did, I could easily get distracted by the superficial and ignore the deeper aspects of an individual. I know I wasn't the only one though, most of the world saw things superficially first. I mean, I was just leaving a photoshoot, and if that didn't scream superficial I don't know what did. The only difference from me and them was that I admitted it, only adding to the perfect storm that was me.

It wasn't hard to tell that this woman knew that she was attractive though, and I was pretty positive she used it to her advantage. It would be stupid not to, because as fucked up as it was a pretty face always got you more. I was lucky in that aspect as well, I may have a different look, but I was definitely considered attractive. I knew how to use it as a tool, but it seems that most women had to do that these days. What happened to all the days of old where people took the time to actually get to know each other? Don't get me wrong, I love conversation as much as the next person, but sexual attraction could screw up any encounter.

My brow arched in amusement as she used my own words against me, and I let a small laugh past my lips. This stranger was definitely sassy, and I admired that in another woman, because sarcasm battles always made people more interesting. You could find out a lot about a person by a sarcastic encounter, and somehow you could always find what buttons to push. I like that she was so blunt though, because it meant I could throw it right back at her when the time was right. I watched her as she slid into the hot tub across from me, so I studied her again before my attention slid right back to my sketch. I shook my head at her comment about not seducing me, and I glanced at her over the top of my drawing bad.

"The best seductions happen with people who just met, but I'm sure you are familiar with that."

I winked before I added detail to her face; she had very strong bone structure so it allowed me to experiment with my shading a bit. With every second passing my sketch looked more and more like the woman sitting across from me, and I was growing very proud of it. It was then the next words about to leave her lips were cut short, and my own attention slid from the pad before me to the male scowling over at us. I sighed in annoyance at his words, and put my supplies away before I pulled my feet from the warm water. I pulled my socks back on and moved my pants where they were supposed to be before pulling my boots on. I cleared my throat as I stood up and hoisted my backpack up onto my shoulder, just in time to catch the last bit of her little show she made of dressing.

"Hurry up, Princess; I can give you a ride."

With that I walked away not waiting for her confirmation or denial of my ride. Either way, I knew she would see me outside, it's not like there were many places for her to disappear. I reached my motorcycle quickly, and set my backpack down. I pulled my riding jacket on then leaned against my motorcycle waiting for the gorgeous stranger to come out. I knew she wasn't far behind me, so I grinned and held out an extra helmet when I saw her exit the building.

"Your chariot. Feel like having some fun?"
