shut up and dance with me

Ah, so he was willing to tease her. The shrug that the vampire offered her was met with a chuckle from the Were girl, clearly amused by the entire situation. His inability â€" or rather, unwillingness â€" to compliment her was hardly a turn off. Instead, the woman was only more excited to press her fingertips against his skin, attempting to draw out those compliments if it was the last thing she did. If he was hard to get, if he was a challenge, Edie would rise up to meet it. Or at least, that's what she would reassure herself as she continued her pursuit of him. That he didn't like dancing... now that was more interesting to the Were girl. She was content to tease him, to attempt to get him to change his mind. Though, it seemed as though he was decidedly firm in his stance on the subject, his voice offering her the possibility of other alternatives, ones that Edie was more than willing to explore.

It was her mention of his species that seemed to draw him out. She grinned up at the man, happy to present him with her name, and equally pleased when his was offered back to her in return. The young girl had never been with a vampire before, never even desired it, and yet it was that boredom that had plagued her into coming to the bar that she couldn't quite deny herself the entertainment she would find in the vampire for the evening. He was handsome, after all, and his blatant refusal to show an interest in her only encouraged her. After all, she hadn't given up on Frost, had she? She'd just stepped back to walk away from the man when his hand was placed in hers, and a playful grin lit up her face. "Sebastian then," She commented, her fingers clenching around the man's as she took another step back, this time pulling him along to the dance floor.

The club was certainly plagued with the type of people that Edie thrived in. The beat of the music was enough to hype up the young were, the girl flourishing in the crowded space as she pulled her partner in with her. "Let me guess, Sebastian," She said over the beat of the music as she drew herself in to him, her body moving fluidly with his. "Back in your day, people waltzed?" It was a small tease, the woman having no idea how old the man truly was. For all she knew, he could be twenty-five or five-hundred years old, the ageless man looking much the same age as herself. As she moved to the beat of the music, Edie's grin flashed up to look at the man. "So, Sebastian, if you don't dance, why come to clubs?"
