In truth, the young woman in front of him reminded him entirely of his younger sibling - the pair seemed entirely content to ask things of him only to become entirely aggravated at the responses they received. It had annoyed him to no end with his sibling and indeed the man found himself simply staring at the coyote as she rolled her eyes in return to his efforts to explain his own kind to her. A soft, aggravated huff left his lips, his tail lashing in his wake as he eyed the girl. It was, perhaps, his own admitted dislike of the human's and their pet clothing that seemed to draw any such comradeship between the two. At least, he supposed, they shared something in common. It might be the only thing but relationships of any kind had been surely built on worse. Still, he hadn't expected such a sore spot for the young lupine, the girl quite literally launching upon a tirade against the human kind as a species. "No." The words fell from his lips bluntly, regardless of whether or not she was looking for a response. He hardly bothered to expand upon that simple syllable if only for the simple fact that his own explanations to this point had been regarded with little more than bristling of fur upon its end. If she had little interest in hearing those thoughts that plagued his mind, then he supposed he had even less desire to share them.

Rather, Tetradore was content to allow the topic to deviate to that which was the only real reason, he supposed, that she had even the smallest of interest within him. He was, perhaps, the only other were creature whom she knew. Still, although he was inquisitive of the young girl's experience upon those full moon nights, he was hardly astonished at the answer he received. After all, the moon was meant to pull the beast from human flesh - not the other way around. Still, he understood that agitation that she spoke of, it was a feeling he had experienced many a times in captivity when so much of his life had been spent as that ebony feline. His own head bobbed ever so slightly, pausing only to answer the girl's original inquiry. "I am not surprised you don't know how to shift anymore. Your body has forgotten. You'll need help to shift from an Alpha though you will likely have to submit to one for that. The pack bond is the only was an Alpha can control a pack member's shift." He knew she wouldn't like the answer he had to provide her and it was for that sole reason he had purposefully failed to admit his own status within his pack. After all, the chances she might leave this life she had when she might have to be submissive to another seemed highly unlikely.

Rather than dwell on such things long, however, Tetradore found himself asking to go with her - to view the world through her eyes for just a moment in time in an effort to understand the coyote that so baffled him. Still, her response that her pack would hardly find his presence acceptable hadn't occurred to the feline. It was but another reminder that he had been around his own kind for far too long. His head bobbed ever so slightly as the woman suggested she might have a place in mind. She hardly wasted anytime and without a moment's hesitation, Tetradore's own powerful haunches launched after her, merely enjoying those rare opportunities to simply run. It wasn't often that the panther simply was given the chance to just be. There were so many expectations of him, so many responsibilities that rested on his shoulders and maybe, it was that which drew him to the coyote that seemed to tolerate him at best. Regardless, Tetradore hardly dwelled on his interest within the woman long, merely following behind the canine at whatever speed she dictated before, slowly, their pace began to slow.

The feline himself slid to a stop beside the coyote, his own emerald gaze widening as he found himself on the edge of a cliff he could have entirely plummeted off of if it were not for the guidance of the female at his side. The end of that cliff came out of nowhere, hardly oblivious until the crest of that hill was topped. For a moment, his gaze merely stared in the depths of that roaring falls and the drop that existed there. With a clear hesitance his gaze shifted towards the female beside him, "Have you ever jumped this before?" There was a hint of dubiousness to his tone though, in truth, he supposed he had little concern for his own safety. After all, if this turned out too perilous, escape from the fall was hardly impossible. "After you." He muttered softly, motioning down and into oblivion.
