Other Information
"Days will pass and turn into years, But I will always remember you with silent tears." Ruven Zephyr Deamonne. A proud, powerful name indeed. Amoungst the Victorian era, all that the newborn Ruven would need to succeed with a name as such would be the wealth of his family, a handsome face, and the wits to continue his fortune. But yet, it was never meant to be. Ruven was removed from his mother's womb upon December 1st, 1846. The baby had long since stopped kicking, as was his usual habit when Elora would sing to him. A mother's intuition is never wrong. The son she had dreamed of was placed in her shaking arms. No, not from weakness, but the pure force of her sobs. Her husband of nearly a year, Agis Elwin Deamonne stood close, his hand upon the cheek of a son that never took a breath. He was buried within the week, as the fragile Elora took to bed rest. She had experienced a miscarriage within the second month of their marriage, had grown pregnant during the third, and now in the eleventh she had buried a child. The town spoke rumors of misfortune and adultery, as they had during the miscarriage. But now they were stronger yet, as Agis took a leave to spend a week with his family in the north, away from Elora. Elora Eve Deamonne spent the following days in a depressed, emotional state of mind, though barely interacting with the outside world. Even as someone slipped into her room and took her away, she didn't seem to react. All she mumbled of was of her lost baby. Within the month, she was changed. And with this change, came Hex. Her personality flipped, from a milquetoast woman to a defiant fairy, with an interesting gift. It had no proper name, and so she titled it 'solo-ing'. She was able to give the illusion of one being in their darkest fear, living it and seemingly unable to escape. There was always a way out, a figurative light at the end of the tunnel. But yet, it was all a mirage still. And while others were not able to see this world of nightmares, that being and Hex were able to see, to interact fully with the environment. It was truly deadly. She never really noticed, though, how many lives she took of the people who wronged her during her years. Not even when she ended up finding Agis a mere ten years later, when the truth of his mistress during Elora's pregnancy came to light. But the only death that ever got through to her, was Ruven. The memories of her still born son from forever ago would haunt her, and turn her into the women she was before her change. They would nearly... transport her back, to the master bedroom of her spacious home with Agis. A home that seemed to close in around her, now that her fantasies of a child running through the halls shattered. It was fitting, that her weakness was a nightmare she could barely escape from, since such is her power. "An angel wrote in the book of life, My baby's date of birth. Then whispered as she closed the book, "Too beautiful for Earth." "
