Appearance: As a Star she shines. The shine fluctuates with her mood, and when she’s delighted or ecstatic it’s practically blinding. It can be very difficult to look at her sometimes. She does have a nasty set of scars running down her chest from her murder that run in front of her heart and along to her shoulder on her left side. She is currently coloring her hair darker to help hide what she is. Her eyes are more of a pale opal coloring than a blue, but it's difficult to mask. She does not have the ability to naturally hide what she is so she wears a delicate necklace with a strange colored stone to hide her traits, her mother a Chimera created it for her.
Brief History: Before she became a branch of the Fae- one of the stars, she was a human girl, half chimera and the fifth oldest of nine children. Her parents were of noble blood, and a half brother murdered her when she went to protect her father from what would have been a devastating blow. This was when the Fae sent her to their people in the stars, at least before she was ripped back down to live in Meronia with her family and meet her friends. As the world continued to change she moved around, visiting her family as they spread away from Meronia, except for her parents. Immortality was something they were all used to.
Leaving her friends behind was always difficult, even her own immortal ones. She married for a little while and had a half human daughter- someone who should have had a longer lifespan, but when her daughter was in her forties she was killed during a burglary. Yejide left Earth shortly after to return to the Faeries in the stars, watching over others, and eventually agreed to have a daughter who was completely Fae with another of the Stars. As they age differently above Earth Yejide was sent back once her daughter was matured enough to continue her studies on her own. However Yejide found herself hunted for the part of her that would grant others immortality and youth, her heart. So she has been taking great care to hide herself with the magic her mother has supplied her in the form of a necklace.
