Born to the 18th Earl of Oxford and his wife in 1624. Marjorie never knew her father as he died a few months before she was born to a fever he caught on the battlefield. Marjorie's mother remarried after the appropriate mourning period while her cousin became the 19th Earl of Oxford. She grew up close to the courts of England, and lacked very little in her upbringing. She was a court favorite, with her bright smiles and flirtacious ways. A stark opposite to her cold, uptight and somewhat cruel mother. In 1640, the court hosted a band of very strange but very talented musicians to hold a masquerade ball. Marjorie was enthralled, as it was the first ball she would be allowed to attend without a curfew. Sadly, it would be her last. She was changed that evening, and when she awoke changed, she found that she had been proclaimed dead.
She has worked hard over the centuries to erase her existence in historical records and maintained much of her lady-like upbringing. She is always impeccably well dressed, and often still in a corset that gives her that hour glass figure. It had once been said of her that her sweet face was as likely to kiss you as it was to bite and drain you.
