From the moment of birth Archer was a noble child. Perhaps not by the blood that ran in his veins, but at the very least by the rules that guided him. The morals that made up his entire being. It wasn't far-fetched that he would train as an apprentice as a squire and eventually moved up to the ranking of Knight in Anglo-Saxon Europe. He fought in the wars and skirmishes, loyal to Queen Elizabeth, and when he was sent to Scotland on one of the many missions, he encountered a glen filled with mushrooms.
Unbeknownst to him, he had wandered into a fairy circle and was subsequently blinded by a beautiful fae lady, following her. He was stolen to the fairy kingdom where the fae lady cooed and was so awed by him for Archer was magnanimous with his praises and always chivalrous. A true gentleman and what vain lady could turn down such fluent praises? She decided she wanted him to stay young forever and become her lover but when he refused this, coming to the realization that something was wrong, he was killed and then began the process of being changed into a fairy.
Once done it took Archer many long years to escape the clutches of the mad fae and when he did, he returned to a world that had changed; 100 years he had been imprisoned in the kingdom of the fae. He was one of them now and was cursed to forever have to drink the blood of animals, once a week at least, or else he would wither and shrivel and suffer. It was curse laid upon him by the Lady and she made sure to make him suffer for his disobedience; he must kill drink the animal dry. A knight he was but he was a kind soul and generous and it twisted him on the inside to have to kill creatures.
For many centuries he wandered the world, barely dabbling in the world of the fae and learning about the rest of the hidden species of the world until he ended up in Sacrosanct where he has settled down in a nice townhome and ponders what path of fate he would chose.
