Atticus had lived a decently normal life until recently. Her sister had been followed and attacked by mysterious men and their dogs while they were out on a night time walk. Before her eyes, she saw her sister's hands glow and attack their attackers, but Atticus was bitten and dragged away. That was the last She remembers, besides her sister's faint voice telling her that she would find her.
