Her name is Gianni now, so let's pretend it says that haha Gianni Lambayo 22 Years Old (*Was turned when she was 18 years old) Italian descent Female Vampire Appearance: Serafina stands at a mere 5’3”. She has a petite stature but is bustier in the right places. Her stomach is flat and tone while her breasts seem slightly larger for her frame, though not too much. Her legs are a little on the longer side for her body, but are smooth and beautiful. She has slightly tan skin, as if she has been just barely touched by the sun. Her hair is a light brown. She has pouty lips, a small button nose, and her eyes are colored that of a dark, piercing sea blue. On the palm of her right hand she has been branded with a black slave symbol that she keeps covered at all times; usually wearing a leather, fingerless glove on both hands as to not to draw attention to herself. (The symbol is somewhat a tribal symbol that covers most of her palm; the symbol is ancient and to her master it meant ‘slave’ and that she was his.) Personality: When it comes to fight or flight, Serafina will do anything to get away. She is soft spoken, and being raised as a slave, she has learned that women are to speak when spoken to. Of course there are times where she voices her opinions, all while knowing she might get a slap across the face. Her mentality is that of a slave. Besides only speaking with permission, she is prone to doing what others say without question, and to being extremely loyal. While she is brave for leaving her master, she is scared. She has never been without leadership, never been on her own. She’s very naïve, quiet, and submissive, and every once in a while she tries to show a more dominant side. She also fears being caught and put back into slavery. Never truly having anyone there for her, she doesn’t trust easily, if at all. She believes that everyone has a motive behind what they do, no matter how good the intent may seem. History: Serafina comes from a very poor family. She was the youngest and most despised of five children. The pregnancy that created her wasn’t just an accident but also a crime as her mother was raped. Her father, trying to appear as the better man, forgave the sin that had taken place and agreed to raise the child as if it were his own. But upon being born, it was more than obvious that not only her surrogate father but also her mother hated her. She was ignored and looked down upon, the only reason she survived was because her older sister took care of her to the best of her ability. She was the red headed step child and always got the short end of the stick. While the parents wished she was struck with illness, their prayers were, in a way, answered when Serafina was only six years old. In what seemed to be the family’s darkest hour, the light at the end of the tunnel was visible when a very wealthy many visited their small town. He was different, and instated fear into everyone as his skin was pale as snow and his eyes were blood red. He went from house to house; rumors had it that he was looking to take a human back with him. Without second thought, Serafina’s father approached the vampire, offering up his six year old child for a small bag of silver and gold; enough money to maybe get them through the end of the month. In the blink of an eye she was gone from her small town, taken away in carriage, her parents seeming not to care of what may possibly happen to her and little Serafina to never saw them again. The child had been bought by a very old, and very old fashioned vampire by the name of Valentino. He was well known amongst the vampire’s in Italy as he was the head of a very large coven that expanded into the Italian Mafia. He was feared by other vampires and humans alike for his power. Of course Serfina never called him Valentino, only ‘my lord’, or ‘master’. The six year old was branded in the palm of her right hand, a symbol that Valentino gave all of his slaves, a crest to ensure that should they get away, they could be identified by nearly anyone. She was then given to the other servants of the house whom were all human. She was raised by them as if they were her own mothers. Year by year went by and as Serafina grew up, she learned how to do more chores, and how to keep the master happy. She learned quickly that small mistakes lead to beatings, and larger mistakes lead to worse. The rules of the house she learned to live by. There weren’t many, but they meant everything. On the night of her 18th birthday, Serafina’s life changed from human to vampire as Valentino attacked her. When she turned twenty she started rebelling. She had dreams of going out and making a life for herself, seeing the world, but the girl didn’t know how. Her punishments went from small beatings, to being whipped, to being chained in the dungeon for several days without food or water; yet unlike the other servants she was never raped. She tried to escape several times with fail and brutal punishment. And it was only when she turned twenty one that she found out what she had been bought for. Her master and the gaurds had avoided touching her in any sexual way because she was being saved for someone more powerful. Another man had paid off her master to be able to try to impregnate a woman. He and her master wanted to try an experiment. They were bound to get her pregnant, even though she was a vampire. They believed that if she were to have a child, it would create a new, more powerful race of vampires that they could use to take over all of Europe. That night the man came over, and Serafina was handed to him as he had his way with her. It was the worse night of her life, but luckily she didn’t get pregnant. However when her master and her rapist found out, they became enraged. Being typical men, they blamed the woman instead of accepting the fact that vampires can’t procreate. She overheard the two of them speaking of selling her as a sex slave or simply renting her out to make their money back on the “little bitch” as they put it. She knew she had to get away, so she went to Eleanor, her mother like maid, and with the help of the servants they devised a plan to save the child. Three nights later, guests came over, mostly mafia members and coven members, celebrating her master’s 4500th birthday. While everyone was being entertained in the dining hall, several maids put together a small bag of dresses (as that’s all the women were allowed to wear) and jewels that Serafina had stolen from around the house. She escaped through the basement window where she was able to claw her way to the surface and run. It was no secret that they came after the girl and searched relentlessly, but by the time they realized she was gone, it was too late. Serafina had ran across the countryside to the shore and was taking a ship to her new life and she has ended up in Sacrosanct. POWER: Nullification: Any special abilities exhibited by any supernatural creature may not work on her. Due to her being very young, her power is very weak, therefore, those with very powerful powers are able to break her barrier. Otherwise she is “immune” to typical magic and powers. **She is naturally immune to magic, of course her power is weak though. She can, however, try to block out someone who is stronger than her. It takes a lot of mental and physical strength, and most times it does not work as they are able to easily use their powers on her. If she tries this, and they break through, it hurts her and can knock her unconscious for several hours. If she tries this and it is successful she will be tired and weak for 24 hours. In those 24 hours, her power is completely gone as it has to “replenish”, so that day she is completely susceptible to any magic. WEAKNESS: Gullible: I couldn’t find the exact word for what I meant. Basically, due to her past, she is easily manipulated. She feels prone to do whatever someone else tells her without question. She has been sheltered her whole life and only knows one way to live. She is also very shy and timid. She’s quiet and usually only speaks when spoken to.
