Karsen is a very confident woman, even with her struggles to get her name out there, she still keeps her head up. She’s very up-front, but knows when to ease up and simply listen. She’s a very honest and loyal person, once she considers you a friend, you’re a friend for life. She doesn’t take betrayal well, and has a tendency to hold a grudge even when she tries not to. Karsen is a very musically talented woman, she can do anything from rap to the more classical music. She’s always ready to offer a smile, and will do all she can to get people to keep their heads up. She’s very stubborn and goes after what she wants, and won’t back off until she gets it. Karsen was born to a woman who wasn’t ready to have a child yet, so she was put up for adoption when she was a baby. Very soon after, she was adopted by a happily married couple who for some unknown reason couldn’t conceive a baby. Her mother Karlin Talbert was a high school teacher, and her father, Jameson Talbert, was a very well-known criminal prosecutor. Karsen was their only child, and they always said she completed their family. She never felt like the weird kid even though she was adopted, and she didn’t hide it from anyone either. When she was a mere five years old, she was drawn to music of all kinds and genres. Noticing her love for music, her parents signed her up for piano classes, which she seemed to be very good at. Then as she got older, they discovered that she had quite a good voice, so they put her into voice lessons. She made it through school easily, having very few problems, she wasn’t the honor student, but she was still a very bright girl. Once she graduated from high school, she was accepted to Tisch at NYU. Now that she’s graduated she’s been working hard to get a music career going, but is not below working whatever jobs she can find until her one lucky moment when she’s discovered.
