East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The ebony panther prowled forward towards the back of his mistress, fully intending to utilize her devout attention to her child to his advantage. At least, such had been his rather naive intent. Unfortunately for Tetradore, he hardly got terribly far before a pair of fingers curled around the collar around his neck, abruptly pulling him backwards as claws sliced his opposite flank. It took the man a moment to become reorientated to his newfound opposition. There was a hiss on his lips, his maw scrunching ever so slightly to show his canines as he circled around the vampire he found himself suddenly face to face with, entirely aware of the were lion that too watched his every movement. He hardly wasted any moment, however, not wanting to leave Isolt to deal with the attention of their mistress focused wholly upon her. The jaguar launched forward, ignoring the lion that followed suite behind him. His entire attention was steadfast upon the vampire that had grabbed him, the feline's thick frame collided into the creature of the night. He could feel the vampire's fingers dig into him, attempting to push him away but Tetradore's claws dug too deeply into him as he pulled the vampire down. The creature bit into his shoulder though whatever he had hoped to gain from the action was entirely lost as the panther's head bent down to bite into the vampire's now exposed neck. His jaws bit down, easily ripping through flesh and tendon and crunching his spine.

He hardly had long to relish into his victory before the lion was quite literally upon him - the much larger feline abruptly pinned Tetradore beneath his bulky frame, the feline squirming ever so slightly against this newest trap he was confronted with. His emerald gaze, however, was hardly on the snapping jaws of his companion, instead distracted by that awful sound of ripping wood. His gaze did his best to follow the young red head, noting the fashion at which she seemed to disappear and reappear but moments later with a dead vampire upon her hand. His lips contorted ever so slightly in a snarl as the lion drew his attention away from the girl, the beast's teeth a bit too close for his own comfort. He turned upon his side, this time relying entirely upon his own affinity to chase the lion off. After all, he had far bigger fish to fry then this lackie. It was his fear that he so called upon, manipulating those hidden terrors that were so particularly personal. He watched the way the lion paused abruptly, giving the panther enough time to crawl out from underneath him before the much larger feline slowly begun to back away from the group and into the corner, far too afraid for his life to intervene in what was to come next.

Slowly, Tetradore made his way to the side of the auburn haired vampire, his head nuzzling momentarily into her leg, as if to reassure her that he was too there during this moment of what would surely be someone's end. In truth, he had particularly little hope of surviving this encounter with his mistress - all those years of capture had taught him a measure of learned helplessness within her presence. And yet, his own growth into power had assured him that if this was going to happen - this stand, then at least this time he would go down fighting rather than be caught once again to be her puppet. He stepped slightly ahead of Isolt, his striking emerald gaze meeting those cold eyes of the woman with a sort of valor that was given only by his certainty of his inevitable death. What he hadn't expected, however, was the way his mistress paused, reaching down to her pocket to pull out two singular leather gloves. His eyes remained settled on her, watching her with a weary inquisitiveness till she reached for the object attached to her hip, one which he had hardly paid attention too before now. The whip clinked as it hit the hardwood, the material glistening under the dull lights. It took him a moment to recognize what it was made out of - tiny intertwined hooks of silver. Of course she'd have a god damned silver whip. This was going to hurt.
