East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian Ellingtonget close enough to have fun
but not enough to get attached

It was a decidedly rare thing for the Englishman, these notions and schemings that so seemed to afflict the mind of his fairy companion, ideas which seemed to specifically contain his own fit, pale form. After all, Sebastian's own ever changing list of lovers were often either too intoxicated to perform any such actions with finesse or too shy and uncertain with their own blooming bodies to even begin contemplating such experimentation with the vampire between the sheets. That wasn't to say that the vampire couldn't have too seduced lovers more skilled with the art of touch and feeling though he so rarely actually liked them - those more skilled than himself often whores who had claimed to have seen it all or haughty and egotistical. In that, Dorian was a entirely unique find that Sebastian was hesitant to let fall from his grasp, even if it was entirely inevitable. His indigo gaze lingered upon the fae's form as those intoxicating French words fell from the man's lips and oh how he thirsted for every syllable and the promise that was offered to him. Sebastian had little reason to believe Dorian would not follow through on such a commitment, the fairy had never failed him to date and it was this that caused his head to bob. The man so readily accept that so titillating "next time", even if it meant that this time would leave him surely wanting with Dorian's naked body entirely on his mind later tonight when the king had left him to his own devices.

It was perhaps this thought that so coaxed a purely provocative desire from the vampire's lips. Sebastian hardly anticipated for his companion to truly be enthused with the notion beyond the undeniable want that so existed with a fire between them. After all, there was a certain level of elegance required in the enticement of those with higher titles than he, especially so when it came to actual royalty, of that he was entirely assured. And yet, regardless of such facts, still he found himself voicing such a promiscuous want. The vampire was well aware of the silver gaze that so settled upon him though he had hardly contemplated that the King himself might have thought even in the slightest such a consideration. After all, Dorian had previously suggested his couplings had always taken place within the warmth of a bed, a public place such as this was surely out of those century old boundaries they so tightly held onto. It was that certainty of perhaps how such a lingering desire remaining but a fantasy that played upon his own mind that caused Sebastian's eyebrows to raise ever so slightly at those softly murmured lyrics. For a brief moment, Sebastian's held tilted, as if he was truly considering how serious Dorian actually was with such a vow.

Regardless, the vampire hardly uttered a word on the topic, merely concluding it best that the vampire merely wait and see rather then pushing his companion on any point that might discomfort him in any fashion. Instead, Sebastian settled on a decidedly more....romantic inkling. Such a whimsical sentiment was usually entirely out of the vampire's realm, marking this occasion perhaps even more special then it might have otherwise been. He was, in his own way, making an effort for his companion, even though he too made an effort to ensure it seemed perhaps a sudden and yet entirely relaxed notion. As if the rejection would simply be brushed off in the way he usually did. Still, despite that ever worn facade, the vampire found himself relaxing with Dorian's assurance that he was indeed interested in that which Sebastian had to show him, even if it was perhaps decidedly....dreamy of the man. A small simper crossed his features, his hand gingerly squeezing Dorian's as he turned to lead the way down the street and towards the intriguing gardens he had once discovered on an evening of pointless wanderings in an effort to 'get to know' the metropolis he found himself now wanting to settle within.

He paused at the iron gate, a singular glance given towards Dorian before he pushed open the fence to admit his lover within the ethereal gardens. His own navy gaze remained steadfast upon the fairy as he made his way through the entrance, carefully watching to sure not even the slightest bit of that ebony gate brushed against him before finally presenting the man with what he had taken them to see. In that singular moment, the only thing that mattered to Sebastian was his companion's reaction, the vampire watching the way in which the fairy's gaze seemed to widen, his lips parting in that look he held only when something utterly amazed him. The vampire had never before seen such a look as intense as this and it certainly pleased him entirely. Slowly, he let his fingertips drop from Dorian's grasp, clasping instead behind his back as he trailed after the fairy, ensuring not to get in the way of the man's inquisitive admiration for the unknown. Sebastian was hardly surprised when Dorian reached out to touch the multi-colored glass, his fingers pausing only for the man to glance back at him with a hesitant but clearly questioning look. Briefly, the vampire's gaze swept the garden, ensuring they were alone before his head bobbed in silent permission. He watched as Dorian inspected the plant like art.

"It is glass, be gentle, it can shatter." The vampire responded to his companion's investigations though he hardly bothered to expand upon it any more then that. Instead, Sebastian merely trailed behind his King as any good Lord should, watching with his own softened simper at the enjoyment Dorian seemed to take from something so decidedly simple and yet, none the less beautiful. It was fitting, in a way. Dorian belonged in a place such as this, surrounded by things as breathtaking such as this if only because the fairy himself so managed to too steal Sebastian's breath away with but the simplest of looks or the gentlest of touches. It was a silly thought, entirely so but Dorian had a way of prompting such utter rediculousness within him. His indigo gaze followed the fairy as he suddenly stepped away from the glass shaped tree that so seemed to softly radiate, instead closing the distance between the pair. The vampire's hands immediately settled upon Dorian's hips as the fairy draped his arms around his neck and in that moment Sebastian relished in those closeness as he was gifted with a single fleeting kiss. A warm smile graced the vampire's features as Dorian pulled away just enough to admit that he had enjoyed this simple present. The kiss that followed was perhaps far more cherished than even those soft lyrics and all too affectionately did Sebastian's own lips respond in kind.
