East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Scarlett Trivale

So try to love me
And i'll try to save you

Scarlett honestly hardly noticed the cold or the rain, she was far to absorbed in her sadness to notice or care. There wasn't much she could do about the rain anyway, with her current emotional state she didn't have any control over the storm; there was no hoping of stopping it anytime soon, it would have to take it's course along with her sadness in due time. So she quietly nibbled on her breakfast alone in the park, doing her best to keep her body hovered over the food so the rain that did slip through the trees didn't soak her food. Her appetite was little anyway, but soggy food didn't taste good and since she needed to eat she'd rather enjoy what she was eating. She was soaked, her long blond hair dripping and her clothes clinging to her skin. Any that drove or walked by would see just how pitiful she was.

She hadn't been aware that she was being watched and followed. Though she was lost in her own little world, her nose and senses still worked on the off chance someone did approach or try to attack her. However when a girl suddenly just appeared before her she jumped and accidentally fell from the table into a puddle on the ground, clearly startled. She hadn't heard, scented, or even seen any sign of another person until this girl was quite literally standing right in front of her. She blinked on the ground for a moment before registering what had been said to her and what had happened, green eyes looking up at the friendly girl who was offering her an umbrella. There was surprise written on her face, she hadn't been expecting anyone, let alone anyone to be so friendly and offer her an umbrella; most people just kept on walking by, choosing to ignore the pitiful site than do anything to help.

The werewolf took in the girl, and the odd way that she stood before her: she didn't carry a scent, a presence, nor was she affected by the environment. For a moment Scarlett thought she was perhaps growing crazy, but then she let her eyes wander to the car that was spoken off not too far off. Perhaps the girl was actually in there and that this was some sort of vision she was making Scarlett have? But then that left her with the question of what species the girl was, because this projection did not have the scents she needed to tell. She offered her a small smile, the best she could manage in her sad state as she stood back up from the ground. "That's a really kind offer but you don't have to, the storm is my fault anyway," it was not her trying to be rude, nor was she creeped out, but it was more that she was always shy with other's generosity.

She still couldn't deny how cold and wet she was, but she didn't want to cause problems for other people; she was too selfless and kind to ever do something like that. She looked at her food for a moment but her appetite was now completely gone so she looked back to the strange, friendly girl with a smile. "Are you in the car? I can't smell you or sense you. Is this a projection?" she asked, her curiosity causing her head to tilt in an almost adorable fashion, like a puppy. Then her eyes opened wide for a moment and she looked away shyly, cheeks turning a shade of pink that was not caused by the cold. "Oh sorry, i'm being nosey," she murmured, quieting down her curiosity and not wanting to seem too pushy. After all this woman had come up to her, sorta, and offered her an umbrella, she didn't want to seem rude.
