East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya would neither encourage nor discourage Scarlett from interacting with Frost with any past interactions. Her experience with the stallion was far different than others of her pack and friends. She would have a far different story to tell but that wasn't exactly a blanket personality to expect from him so one she wasn't going to tell. Scarlett would have to make her own observations; Nadya could only offer the girl an out for if she needed it. It was so common place within the recent months for Nadya to be in her panther form that she didn't think anything of traversing the streets in the open that way. Sacrosanct was supposed to be a sanctuary for their kind after all.

The young woman was quiet for the entirety of the way until they had reached their destination. Even then Nadya spoke only to give direction and ensure Scarlett was indeed following this time. There was still some question whether the timid canine would bolt at any moment again. It wasn't until they were finally within the bowels of the burlesque did Nadya elaborate more on her proposed job offer to Scarlett. None of it seemed daunting to the wolf, at least her body language conveyed no fear, if anything there was a spark in her eyes that Nadya remembered from all those months ago. "You don't drink?" That was perhaps the oddest thing she had heard of. Nadya had never met anyone who didn't partake in even a social drink or glass of wine. Well, at least she didn't have to worry about Scarlett coming into work hungover.

"I try to have two of you and then two bartenders." Try was the key word there which caused Nadya to press on to another issue. "There has been a problem of people taking off so, right now, you are the only waitress and AJ is the only bartender. If you're going to work here then I have to know you can be reliable. I can't have my staff disappearing without a trace anymore. Think you can handle sticking around?" Nadya's gaze traveled with Scarlett's at her happy dance to the stage where the Fae were. It was so common place now, seeing the elegant and alluring routines they put on that sometimes she forgot how a first timer might see a burlesque. "I recommend staying out of the dancer's way. They're the stars of this place and they know it; it goes to a few of their heads. If you have any questions about things then you just come to me. I'm available to help- as long as I'm not on stage of course." There was a twinkle of amusement in her tone as Nadya looked back at the wolf. The girls could be catty with the new hires, even taking a while to fold in a new Fae into their group. However, they still showed respect to Nadya so she let them be most of the time.

There was little else Nadya could think of to go over with Scarlett. Slowly she rose back to her feet before a thought struck her. "There's no uniform here but you are required to look nice, no tattered jeans and t-shirts. Can you do that?" Usually when Nadya hired people she did so when they were in their human form which allowed her to gauge on their attire whether they would be able to fulfill the fashion part of the job. This was a new exception she was making for Scarlett, hiring relatively blindly and Nadya didn't want the girl coming in for her first shirt in some holey jeans and slogan shirt. The Cat's Meow had a reputation to uphold after all.
