East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

A soft breath so left Tetradore's lips at the entirely confused voice that reverberated from his newfound Vector. Many within the city at least knew of their existence enough to know they were well to be avoided, some even knew those words that so mattered so much to them - words such as pack and Alpha if only for their presence well within the animal world. After all, it was what they were, was it not? Why should they not too follow those same social standards as their wholly wild counterparts? A small frown so marred his features as his fingertips reached up to massage his temples. Tetradore hadn't anticipated that the mortal man he'd bitten would be entirely oblivious to their world, much less their existence. It took Tetradore a moment to so regather that placidity, reminding himself that this man, whomever he was, was new to all of this. It would all come in time, that acceptance of what he was, of what he could do, of what he would soon be able to feel of the world at large. Soon he'd be able to distinguish them from one another, the different species that so walked the streets, soon, he'd innately understand and answer that call of the wild. Soon.

Thankfully, it seemed his all too familiar description of exactly what Henry went through was enough to momentarily make the man pause just slightly. Tetradore was all too aware to that look of contemplative confusion, though the stranger's baffled facial features only further served to confound Tetradore himself. Still, he was pleased it was enough to make the blond once again settle in his seat. Tetradore watched in silence as he finished off his first glass of whiskey, ordering a second glass with a flick of his wrist. He knew well what it was like to need that liquor like a crutch to simply get through those stresses that so weighed on him. Hell, how many nights had he done the same thing within that busy, bustling dance club he had once lived within. Still, Tetradore remained patient, waiting till his companion's lips parted to voice those thoughts that he so clearly struggled with. This Sterling individual was mentioned yet again though the syllables hardly drew a reaction from Tetradore at all. Instead he simply listened to what little Henry had been able to piece together of his life within the past twenty-four hours and the shift that had so overcome him.

For a moment, Tetradore too was silent, reaching forward to pick up his glass and contemplate the information he was given as he so sipped on the contents, savoring that flavor. "Well..." He started after a long moment, "I suppose you could have gone feral and that's why you can't remember. It isn't unheard of in the first few months of shifting. I should have been there but...I didn't know." He shook his head ever so slightly, knowing well that it was hardly an excuse for his lack of presence. Still, it was the man's inquiry of the possibility of what his roommate said that so caused Tetradore to turn slightly towards his companion. "No, you are a jaguar, to be exact. People will call you a panther, I passed the black gene onto you." He paused, letting his emerald eyes fall upon his companion. "Look at me." He commanded gently, fully intending to draw Henry's gaze. "It might seem impossible but we have met before. You had a yippie white dog. Does nothing about me seem...familiar?" It was his eyes he was referring to, that bright emerald green was so telling of the men within his heritage. They were brighter, somehow more intense than the hue that even mortals with the same color held. It was those emerald green eyes that even his feline self so sported, often commented on for being entirely unforgettable. Softly, after a moment's consideration, Tetradore offered what little certainty he might be capable of providing his vector - "I can show you, if that is what you require, just how possible it is."
