East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Nadya Tetradore

Nadya was a very observant creature when she needed to be, it came with not just being a predator but having been raised in an Alpha family. She knew the time and place to be quiet, those to add her piece, and the times to fight. There are slips of course, as with anyone, but in the face of this other Beta Nadya was nothing but watchful. The other woman's blood loss combined with the alcohol of the shots made her rather talkative. Nadya could tell she was still in relatively good control, showing her high tolerance for both damage and alcohol so was still able to comprehend and skirt around Nadya's delicate prodding for information.

The feline smirked slightly, allowing Edie her words of protest and switching of subject to dancing. Whether it was crossing the lines between interactions of pack members was hard to tell but Nadya didn't see the harm in it. Dancing was dancing, there was nothing dangerous to either pack about that. Nadya nodded, accepting Edie's request when she specified to be taught burlesque. "It can be quite....captivating." She told the woman to lay back and rest while she left to go tend to her business.

The rest of the night went on without a hitch. The girls had performed beautifully as always and the patrons had tipped their waitresses and the bartender handsomely. The twins were passed out in their playpen set up near the base of the stairs seeing as the caretaker had to leave for the night. The dancers had lingered as they always did after closing to put themselves back together before they would all go out for a meal at the diner down the street. "We're heading out, Nadya!" One called out from the steel door. "Ok, be safe ladies, lock the door behind you." Nadya called back from behind the bar where she was jotting down a quick order list. They had gone through a lot in the past two days. She was planning on going up and checking on the weary Beta upstairs but was saved that task when Edie's spoke up and plopped herself on one of the barstools.

Nadya raised a brow at her, noting that the outfit the other Were now wore was one of hers. "Well I guess it's yours now." She put down her clipboard and pen, bracing one hand on the countertop and the other on her hip to eye Edie. "I guess I'm just more surprised that you're still here. I expected you to slip out the bathroom window like some bad date." Nadya shrugged easily as she rounded the corner and motioned for Edie to follow her. "Come on." She led the woman backstage, glancing towards her sleeping children to ensure they were still asleep, and showed Edie where the vanity sets were pushed against one side of the wall with the racks of costumes on the other side. "Burlesque all starts with wearing the right outfit. There is an art to being alluring without being...slutty. This isn't a Halloween costume party." Nadya stepped up to one of the many racks, thumbing through as she glanced from Edie to the outfits she paused at before pulling out two for Edie to see. One was a black lace corset and garter belt set with lace gloves while the other was a green and black corset and skirt number with a short green fabric train behind her, fishnet thigh high stockings and gloves. "Which one?"

The young woman nodded as Edie selected the green one, replacing the other choice on the rack before pulling her own outfit out from another rack which was specifically hers. Nadya stepped behind the tall rack to hide the majority of her form as she peeled off her clothes and pulled on the outfit. Although Weres were used to seeing nudity, it was also a vulnerability when posed in front of the member of another pack. When Nadya emerged she was wearing a blue corset with black silk ribbons sinching up the front and a short back skirt of black feathers with classic garter belt stockings and black heels. "The easiest for a beginner is to use a chair for a prop; it helps with any nervousness because it gives you something to interact with." Nadya explained as she led Edie out onto the stage.

She had been in the burlesque far more times than she could remember alone on this stage. This was the first time she was on it with someone else when it wasn't for show-business. Nadya easily pulled two chairs from where they were tucked off left stage with other props and brought them to the middle of the stage. She was quiet as she moved about, her heels clicking against the floor as she went back to the prop area to snatch a remote, pointing it to the upper deck where the DJ would normally be stationed and set the music on. The music began to play, it's and Nadya glanced back at Edie as she took hold of the back of her chair with practiced ease spun it around so she was straddling it backwards, smirking, "Ready?"
