East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I'm more alive than I've ever been

The muffled patter of Isolt's bare feet as they meet the softened ground is the only sound to her ears for a gathering of moments, her mind having urged the world that surrounds her flighted frame into a state of suspended animation and quietude in its quest for serenity. Its quest for peace. Such a terribly long while had it been since the vampire queen had indulged in something as pointless and jovial as this game of pursuit with her lover. So long since she had been granted the opportunity to enjoy solely his presence and the freedom to have him do naught more than chase her. It was a blessed revelation and rejuvination of a time before life had pulled back the dark veil to reveal to her all of the complications and trials of a life lived after one's mortal demise.

So taken is the young woman with the thrill of this amiable hunt that she cares not for the sodden earth that splashes against the alabaster flesh of her legs and taints the pallor of her dress. She simply revels in the speed and agility that are but a few of the cornucopia of spoils gifted unto her by immortality for a time before she slows, camouflaging her slender frame behind the totem of one of the many forest trees. Teeth rake against the plushness of her bottom lip in anticipation of his arrival; Isolt can nearly feel him as he moves through the forest's labyrinth to find her. But it is his words, before his eyes, that find her in her concealment. A silent chuckle passes her lips. So tempting...

Too tempting, it would seem.

Isolt reveals herself in a flash of fabric and dark crimson locks, gliding to a halt before Damon. The flames that had once crowned her head are now saturated into a deep, alluring crimson, the fabric of her dress clinging in quite the revealing manner to every last curve of her feminine frame. Even in so disheveled a state, she is picturesque. She is breathtaking. A single, delicate finger reaches forth to hook into the collar of his shirt and coax him closer still. "You will not win so easily all of the time, Mr. Marcello. Remember that," she purrs as her hands slide along his chest, his arms, positioning his body so that he cradles her in preparation for their dance, an enigmatic glance darkening the cerulean of her eyes...
