East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

There was curiosity within the young woman's gaze as she looked back at Frost divulge a tidbit of his past. He had been so young and what drew him to those places as a question she wished to pursue but held back. Frost so rarely gave a glimpse to his past and Nadya didn't wish for him to clam up due to her digging; she'd rather him feel free to simply speak. The similarities between Frost and her brother was something that Nadya easily saw, both having a dark history and built such a hard exterior that rarely gave a glimpse to the men they were beneath. Of course she wouldn't be telling Frost any time soon on how he was like her brother. At least her understanding and acknowledgement of Frost's demeanor meant she wasn't put off by his relative lack of emotion as other women may be. It was his continued return to her that let her know of his interest and this very night which showed his true intent.

Nadya abandoned her drink, all thought of food sweeping from her mind as she gathered herself to her feet with the sole intention of getting Frost to dance with her. Dance was the very thing she lived and breathed and could hardly pass up a chance to dance with him. "I think the real question is if you can handle me." She teased lightly on his comment about her keeping up. Nadya had little doubt she could handle whatever Frost threw at her. She was a dancer by trade after all. At least she didn't want to wait long before Frost found his feet as well and began to explain the dance. The feline listened as dutifully as she would at the burlesque when the group was going through a new routine. You had to be able to take spoken word and put it into action with accuracy.

"This is similar to the waltz.." Nadya commented as she realized the beginning was familiar, stepping close with her hand up but not touching Frost as they circled clockwise then counter-clockwise. She still kept her gaze steadfast on Frost's, relying solely on him and his ability to lead than trying to look at his feet. No, this was more than just dancing and seeing if he was capable of leading her but allowing him to lead as it was no secret how Nadya never relinquished control to follow anyone besides her brother. The woman fell silent as she let Frost's delicate yet firm hold on her guide them effortlessly about, the two falling in perfect step to this silent dance. It was only after some time when they were pressed back together after parting once more, Nadya's front barely grazing Frost's that a soft smirk pulled at the corners of her lips as she looked up at him. "Ríkarður....how do you say girlfriend in your tongue?" It was perhaps a simple question but one that also held much meaning. For months Frost had pursued her and Nadya remained uncertain of what path to take and it seemed that she had finally made a decision and if Frost was astute enough he would realize that in this moment...she chose him.
