East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Perhaps it was out of habit. Perhaps it was that the young woman still considered Sebastian a dear friend. Either way, not a second thought was given to allowing him to feed from her; if only to keep him there a moment longer. Had it been anyone else who traipsed through that door disturbing her dance, Nadya would have been quite displeased but the familiar face had the past all rushing back. The simplicity...the freedom and oh how much fun.

A warm smile crossed her features as he agreed to have pictures for her from his travels. Oh how he indulged her, however trivial they may have seemed to the vampire. At least though her prodding produced a rather curious admittance on his part. With someone...a he someone, a King. In all honesty she had never thought Sebastian took other men to bed. However, she could tell in the heart of his gaze that he had true feelings for him. Nadya was nothing if not observant as most women were about these matters. "Well, look at you moving up in the world." She giggled, a pure sound that so rarely left her lips lately, as she nudged Sebastian playfully with her shoulder. Nadya had no idea that the very person Sebastian was speaking of was Dorian himself whom she had met before and thought was crazy.

All too soon the tables were turned on her though and her gaze turned to her feet dangling over that stage edge. "Yes, their names are Micah and Izzy and they'll be 2 soon enough. It, uh, wasn't planned...but I wouldn't give them up for the world." With a slight shrug she pulled her attention back up to look into those brilliant blue eyes. "It's a very complicated matter, the man who I like. I've known him since before the twins were born but over time...well... He's Alpha of another pack. A member of ours struck out against him and in the end it spilled a fight to the Ark and ended up fighting my brother. It's been a volatile thing since." Nadya would believe Frost in the fact that Raven threw the first attack seeing as the consistent part of the pairs story involved Alexis and she knew well Raven's emotions regarding the little fox could blind her. I moved into the Ark at my brother's request to try and be a family but it's hard with all the complex things going on within the pack."

"It's hard to see the real person, the one behind the mask that they show the rest of the world, and try to convince that to others. They only see that harsh exterior but with me...with my children...he is soft and caring. I don't seek him out but he's adept at finding me; my own stalker." Nadya shrugged a bit. "But that's life though, right, dead or undead...doing what's best for your family?"

Nadya wasn't sure how much of that topic she could take. It made her heart clench every time, that knowledge that she was being told to choose between her chance at love and her brother...the last connection to her family. She sighed and shook her head, grasping onto the notion of selling the burlesque. "It's been a great learning experience. I do still enjoy dancing and won't be giving that up. Heeeyyy, why don't you and your boyfriend come to the new studio once I get it all up and running? I'm sure he can help me pick out some music for the more classical pieces being a King and all." Well it seemed like a good idea.
