East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I'm more alive than I've ever been

It is, this time, bliss that begets ignorance within the woeful heart and mind of the young Isolt. Such is the intensity of her relief, her elation at the return of her most cherished companion, that reason abandons her for a time. Flee it does, expelled by the overzealous hound that is her own paradoxically savage and reckless splendor. And so it is that she speaks for his return to the Western limits, his return to his family and to what had always been and would continue to be his forevermore. She can do little else but nod a head made heavy with the crushing bulk of grief, of sorrow, to send asway a drapping of lackluster spirals that had once shone brighter than any false light.

But stilled is she at the mention of the murderer who had bestowed upon them all this greatest of tragedies, the thief who had picked from their pockets one so deeply cherished and left them with barren hands and weighted hearts. The supple line of Isolt's jaw sets into an uncharacteristically harsh line, the crystalline blue of her eyes rising to his only to darken from the tenebrific shade cast by the seething hatred that has found its footing within her heart. "Then stay here as long as you need to; we'll keep you safe. And if Frost should find his way here..," she gives pause then, the electric sizzle of a thing far darker than mere threat scorching the silence as it abates. "... I will give him the reception he deserves." She realizes in some place not so far down that it is unlikely, for it is unwise, that the Were leader would find his way into this Elysium stronghold; however, juxtaposed against this is the ironclad determination that his penance would be great, his fine hefty, should he discover the truth of Tetradore's awakening and find the dare of a visit too titillating to forego.

Coming away from the searing conflagration of her own ire, Isolt shifts to clutch at the duvet that swaths the bed, tugging at it so that it may fall about the bare shoulders of her companion. "Now, we need to get you into some clothes... I think Damon keeps some around here somewhere. And you'll have to eat; I'll not hear any argument to that," she offers with a smile, leaning in to plant the gentlest of kisses against his forehead before rising to set about the task of lifting both of their crumbling spirits.
