East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

East

His paws hit the rooftops harder than they normally would, so much of his feline grace lost within his need for speed in these moments, the long, lanky leopard scrambling across the tiles of the houses and bars that adorn the East side, lunging frantically from one to the other in a desperate attempt to escape his vampire pursuer as the shadowy figure races below. His ability to evade those he perceives as enemies has perhaps allowed him to out-perform his 'minder' thus far and yet it would seem the vampire has finally had enough of the leopards games, the man determined to drag the cat back to the bar he has escaped from yet again, back to the vampire women whom claims ownership over him and yet the threat of impending punishment sees the boy only more determined to out run the unfortunate employee whom had been assigned to watch him. Claws scrape against steel as the gold and dark creature lunges upward a final time, claws catching the edge of the guttering of one particular house, hauling himself upward before his form lowers and lengthens, paws falling more silent now, each muscle stretched and extended as he moves to slink into the shadows of an apartment wall, pressing himself against the cold concrete as he crouches, tail curling about his form as his chest heaves with the effort of his run and golden eyes peer into the alleyway below.

It is simply by chance perhaps, that the vampire has changed course, has found something else to hold his attention as the golden cat watches from above with wicked delight as he comes upon the leather and silver studded hunter that lingers in the alleyway below. He moves to slide further forward, ghosting atop the roof like liquid oil, so sleek, so smooth as he watches the short-lived battle below and a purr of utter satisfaction at seeing one of his captors destroyed seems to vibrate within him. He is hardly a weak creature, indeed he is by far one of the most powerful of the Were and yet he has learned already that mauling Risque's employees results only in further pain to himself. That this one has died by its own accord is a far more satisfying outcome. Golden eyes move to simply follow the other man once more as he begins to wander away, leaving nothing but a burned patch in his wake. For a moment Tobias is simply content to watch, natural instinct warning him away from the hunter and yet the glint and shine of the rings alone seems to ensnare his curiosity, the fractured mind of the boy seeming to entwine so darkly with his animalistic nature, assuring that even the most simple of things captivate his attention.

He moves softly now, padding softly, silently along the rooftops, trailing after the dark-haired Hunter that seems to have captured his attention, though for better or worse can hardly be said. Without his Alpha's command or Risque's feline control to contort his will to her own the boy is somewhat...volatile, his moods as fleeting as the flickering street lamps ahead. Tonight however, the powerful cat seems....peaceable, to an extent, moving to leap suddenly downward and land atop a stack of cardboard boxes, well within view of the approaching Hunter though remaining higher than him still. It is only natural after all, that some part of himself desire to maintain a distance from a natural predator and yet perhaps the sheer chaos of his mind eliminates some of this fear as that fur suddenly recedes to be replaced with lashings of ebony hair and deep chocolate eyes- the cat replaced now with the tall, lanky and yet toned boy, nothing of his leopard form remaining save for the thickened leather collar about his neck, his entire lack of clothing seemingly unnoticed, the boy used to such things as he regards the approaching man with almost...delight.

"You...got him...I saw."

His hands move to clap together like a child far younger than his twenty one years and towering form would suggest as he sits upon his pile of boxes within the mouth of the alleyway, lip quirking upward into a grin upon his handsome young features as he watches the other man from beneath his tousled hair, his fractured words indicating that he may perhaps not be all....there.

"Maybe I...like you just....a bit....maybe...this much."

He proceeds to hold up one hand, thumb and forefinger held an inch or so apart in some effort to show the hunter just how much he might possibly be liked, feet swinging like a child before his head tilts oddly to the side, pupils dilating slightly in a cat-like manner at the sight of the rings upon his fingers.

"They are...very shiny....can I touch them? Or...will they...bite me?"

He cannot be sure if they are silver, not from here, the boy well aware that silver 'bites'. He remains where he is, seated still and yet wary all the same, carefully watching the hunter before him, mind rapidly gathering the information he needs to evade to other man should he be required to do so though he seems to lack the genuine fear of others, perhaps his fractured mind lacks self-preservation, or perhaps he is simply cocky. After all, there are few so powerful as Tobias.
