East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

AMOR MARCEL CONSTANS
THE BEAST INSIDE OF ME IS GONNA GET YOU
v a m p i r e

He had tried to shake her off for the last few weeks. But she was like a disease that had infected him the night he knew she was here. She was in Sacrosanct and was wandering the same streets he had no choice but to. Though he was comfortable to know she was safe; knowing that she hated him churned his insides every time he thought about it. She was plaguing his mind however â€" all idle time falls to this raven haired human girl.

The club thudded like it had it's own erratic heartbeat, the life of the party just beyond his office door. There was a local celebrity who's birthday was today and the whole facility was packed. And with all of the hustle and bustle of this Saturday night, Amor and Delmazio assumed that the traffic would serve well to allow a surge of business out of the back. Amor leans back in his black-leather desk chair and laces his fingers over his hips. "Sacrosanct isn't as dark as Portland, it's best to stick with the white girl and leave the rest for elsewhere."

He tilts his head, eyeing his colleague over the large bag of cocaine between them. "The humans seem to few and far between and a lot of the shifters seem to be almost feral." Looking down on the mirror before him, a line spread out for him to sample the newest product. "It's a strange place here. They are all in tune with nature but not their human nature." Finally he picks up the dollar bill and he takes the line, sniffing and wiping off his nose afterwards. "It seems we may have made a wrong turn." Maz says, watching the long haired Romanian.

Leaning back in his chair, Amor replies. "I believe so." He begins to swing the chair gently from side to side. "But I have thought of a way to make money off of these shmucks." He itches his nose. "We could gather some supernaturals, since they choose to keep themselves secret and make a circus and freak show." He chuckles as his face goes numb. "I think it could be a success." Delmazio stared at Amor as he slowly shook his head in silent protest. "I think you should stop doing the drugs and just sell them." Delmazio stands and straightens his suit jacket before grabbing his cane that he had leaned against Amor's desk.

"Same time, same amount next week" he says as he turns around and walks out the back door.
