East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Everything around them seemed to dull, fading like a vignette so that the only thing in focus was the two of them wrapped in their private world. With the hard planes of his body pressed against hers everything else was forgotten, the indiscreet suited body guards, the too recent darkness she had escaped, even her tentative reservations about being here with him. All of it was forgotten in the gravitational pull he seemed to have over her. Part of her was glad for it, embraced the comfortable void of everything else as his lips pressed against her own. It was such a welcome change for the woman who lately couldn't seem to shut her mind off. All of this led her to accepting his proposal, to allow him to not only take her blood but impart the very venom into her that made his kind so dangerous. A risk, but perhaps worth it she hoped if it gave her even a few moments of peace.

She truly hadn't been prepared as the soft brush of his lips was replaced by the sharp, albeit temporary, sting of his fangs sinking into her skin. The toxin worked quickly though, quickly replacing any lingering trepidations with pure, unadulterated bliss. The moan that fluttered from her lips breathy and hot against Sebastian's neck, she found she couldn't stop herself as her fingers trailed along his neck. Those moments seemed to stretch on for an eternity, and yet all too soon she felt him pulling back. His lips meeting hers once more had her pressing into him with a new fervor, spurred on by the freeing impact of his venom, and pouting with a soft whimper as he pulled back. Like a sleepy child she moved with him, her lips finding his neck as she felt the vibrations of his words almost more than she heard him, the soft buzz in her mind making things move more slowly. "Mmmm, sure," she almost purred, curling herself more peaceably in his lap. Sebastian may have been finished but all he had done tonight was free parts of Carolina that had been keep chained for years.

Letting her long, delicate fingers dance across his chest she let her blue-green eyes look back up at his, they seemed brighter now, his skin having less pallor than it did before. Openly she studied the sharp curves of his face, as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. "What is it like for you?" A question she had been thinking which had somehow found its way out of her mouth, no doubt due to the heady mixture of alcohol and venom destroying any filters the woman normally had in place. Her experience with vampires was limited, but they couldn't be any worse than the demons she had recently left behind.
