East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Nadya truly enjoyed hew new dance studio. There was something about teaching children to dance that sparked joy in her. Today was certainly busy with teaching classes while also making plans on rearranging and expanding the studio space. Thankfully Frost had put up little protest on helping her out around the studio. When he arrived with the twins in tow she set him to his task as she quickly changed the twins into their dance clothes. Izzy still insisted on wearing a tutu with her leotard despite Nadya attempting to convince her she didn't need it for class...only recitals. It was a battle not worth fighting so she let her daughter flounce around in the sparkly tool tutu. The other young children were a variation of new dancers to having moved here from another studio and thus more precise in their...attempts.

It was nearing the end of the younger class and already the older students were beginning to filter into the waiting area with their parents. "Alright, practice your turning for the last few minutes and listen to the music, move like the music." Nadya turned on the stereo which played the classical song over the speakers as the little ones went this way and that, fast and slow as they tried to follow the flow of the song.

Nadya was moving through the group, helping their hand or feet positioning when she head her name called by a small voice. It wasn't uncommon here at least but was unusual for another student to require her outside of their class time. The young woman glanced up and saw through the large glass windows where the parents congregated on the other side a familiar blonde. How long ago had she extended the offer for the child to come to her studio? She had long ago thought the girl had decided she wasn't interested. It was with a tenseness though that she saw Frost reach out and grab Maeve's chin. Nadya knew very well he would never harm a child but it would not look appropriate at all for a man to be touching a child not his own. "Class over, get your gummies from Kiki. The rest of you start your warm-ups." Nadya hurriedly left the room, leaving the chosen child from the next older class to hand out the 'good job treats' while the others could begin stretching.

"Maeve." Nadya breathed out as she reached the pair but not before offering a reassuring smile to the parents she hurriedly passed. "I'm glad you made it, I was starting to think you weren't interested. Where's Roman?" She had fully expected the man to be the one chaperoning her to such things. "..Well...you age group for ballet isn't until later but if you want you can try the hip hop class that I'm about to do? They're still around your age. If you're only interested in ballet though you're more than welcome to just hang out." Either way she was more than happy to have Maeve linger. She had seen the passion in the child dancing and would facilitate that in any way.

Izzy and Micah made their way over to their mother with gummies in hand. "Oh, Maeve, these are my kids, Isabella and Micah." The twin 4 year olds eyed the new older girl then glanced up in unison to Frost. Even they were struck by the similarities and slightly confused. Nadya smirked and nudged Frost playfully, "You haven't been with a fae have you?" She chuckled as she teased him.
