East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

A small frown toyed at the corner of Chizue's sweetheart lips as the young woman considered, for perhaps the first time, that the guilt that waged war within her might, perhaps, be misplaced. For nearly a year now, the Asian had been certain that it had been her that had failed her Supreme. Maybe if she hadn't been such a coward, if her own tolerance for pain and her terror hadn't been so great, maybe she could have persisted in silence long enough to cause Isolt to further her own endurance against those warlocks. Chizue knew, quite simply, that she had been little more than a pawn within the coven's game, her entire purpose had been to cause the redhead to give in, though to what she hadn't the slightest notion of at the time. Maybe...maybe she had been wrong all along? Or maybe they were both wrong...and both, therefore, right. A soft breath left the young woman's lips, this far too theoretical for the woman when she had a bleeding man in her living room. Unfortunately for her, he was entirely unwilling to let that conversation drop so easily. It baffled her, really, that the stranger might hold some sudden care for her troubles, not that there was much that even he could do. After all, surely, if the coven could be eradicated, Damon would have done it, wouldn't he? Her head bobbed slowly as he insisted his people would find...something, or at the very least find out how to keep her safe - that was if they even cared about the young vampire that hardly matched their prophecy.

Her chocolate eyes turned towards the ground in a subtle, submissive glimpse of acceptance of the man's determination to involve himself in her life. That sudden growl upon his lips, however, was entirely unexpected, causing the girl to flinch beneath the intensity of his gaze. In a way, it was almost easier to focus on that task at hand then it was to dwell upon the fears that so tightly gripped her. After all, that bullet was a very real problem that needed to be dealt with immediately, even if Chizue doubted her abilities to do as he asked. Her hesitation was entirely apparent as she picked up those plastic tweezers in hand. Slowly, Chizue moved to her knees in front of the man. Her chocolate eyes slowly slid up his figure as she regarded him with an entirely naive gaze. A part of her was aware of that sudden change within him, though the shift was so abrupt and fleeting that the girl hardly had even a moment to truly comprehend that lust she saw within him. Rather, she allowed him to take her slender, dainty fingers in his as the man placed his hand just above the wound in his thigh. Her head bobbed as she listened intently to each instruction that he provided her. Softly, the girl muttered a brief word of warning, as unnecessary as it was before her tweezers reached for the bullet in his wound.

How the colors of his hue shifted then! The very intensity of that shade deepening in a matter Chizue had seen such few times before and yet, she knew better than to afford it even the slightest glimpse of her attention. That pained groan on his lips only caused the girl to nibble upon the bottom of her own, her minuscule fangs teasing the plush, sensitive skin of her bottom lip as she threw all of her focus upon gripping that slick, wet bullet. She was aware of that tenseness to his frame as she softly began to murmur her own repeated apologies. It was the least she could do for the pain she was causing him and yet, the girl hardly gave up on her quest. His assurances hardly helped either of them, truly, when Chizue could see herself how very much un-almost there she was. Nevertheless, the vampire remained silent as her tweezers finally caught hold on that bullet. Removing it, even the slightest, caused a fresh wave of blood to trick down the wound and his leg, the girl reopening those very efforts of his flesh to heal the damage done to him. Fortunately, his life force hardly called to her, and yet, she could tell how very close he was to passing out - from the clenching of his jaw to the way his heart seemed to fly! For a brief moment, her chocolate gaze turned upwards as she offered the man some reassurance that she was almost there. Her tweezers tightly gripped the edge of the bullet as the girl pulled it out the rest of the way, letting it clatter onto the wooden floors beneath them.

For a brief moment, her eyes turned towards the floor to eye the very object that had caused him so much pain. His flesh still seemed to his from the silver and slowly, Chizue reached for a towel she had brought down with her first aid kit. Gingerly, the girl folded it up, using the cotton to wipe up that blood that had trailed down his toned leg. "Thank you." She murmured at his words of praise. His attempt to jest with her, however, fell woefully flat as the woman frowned ever so slightly. Maybe....she should buy metal ones....? A soft breath left her lips as she pushed her hand towel to his wound. "To help stop the bleeding." She offered in a vague explanation, even though she was sure he hardly liked the pressure after all he had just been through. It was that sudden inquiry of clothes, however, that caused her gaze to turn back upwards with a ghost of a smile on her lips. That was one thing she certainly did have. It seemed that a pair of clothes for the opposite gender kept coming in handy. She had done well to pick up a new set after Malek had taken the last. Chizue's head bobbed as she stood, letting his free hand take the towel from her. "I do if you just want to wait here." The vampire informed him.

Chizue turned upon her heels, the woman content to leave him to his own devices yet again as she vanished back up the stairs of her townhome. The Asian hardly had to rifle nearly as long through her things as she found the extra pair of sweatpants she had purposefully purchased, an additional plain black shirt was draped over the top as she collected the items into her arms. Admittedly, Chizue had never paused to consider undergarments when she had made her purchase, the woman woefully lacking anything more than the most necessary. Either way, she returned from her search but several minutes later, only to hand them towards him. "There is a bathroom down the hall if you would like to change." She uttered, realizing quite at the last moment that the poor man's hands were already full as it was. "Um...I'll leave them on the counter for you." Chizue offered, moving to do just that before the woman turned to busy herself with picking up the fallen dining room chairs as he changed.
