East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The sports vehicles that the Were-King so often enjoyed were but the singular display of ostentatiousness within the otherwise reserved panther's life - thus far, at least. Even so, it was hardly for some bid for control or admiration of wealth that he enjoyed those luxurious cars. Oh no, what Tetradore cared for was their speed. It was, perhaps, one of those perceived 'blessings' of the pandemic - the roads entirely clear to him for the taking and how he relished in it. The loaf of bread was placed carefully at Taliah's feet as the two slid into the car, the vehicle roaring to life in the moments afterward. The Bugatti was jumped at the ready with his foot on the throttle, the vehicle near gliding even despite the speeds that Tetradore pushed it to, those speed limits entirely ignored by the man as they made their way through the city and towards the familiar Western docks. The Were-King's gaze hardly wavered from the road, however, as those inquiries fell from Taliah's lips with rapidness. Admittedly, few of those questions were ones he had any real answer to. Information, after all, tended to be vague when it came to anything garnered from his...questionable contacts.

Silence befell the pair in those moments afterward, Tetradore maneuvering with ease through the warehouse distinct even despite its often labyrinth like appearance. How well he knew those buildings and which ones were owned by whom, which housed what, and, more importantly for tonight, which ones were his. Tetradore easily directed the Bugatti towards one such warehouse, the darkened interior all but enveloping them as the Were-King slowed the vehicle to a halt. The weight of his emerald eyes turned towards the woman beside her, that silence altogether brief before Tetradore informed her of an altogether vague plan. The Western King, after all, would be wholly recognizable in his mortal form, his distaste of that trade they were venturing into was equally as well known. This, he was sure, was a preferable alternative and yet, Tetradore hadn't missed the vague look of discontent settled within her furrowed brows. He watched as her gaze turned outside, the spring air still...nippy by all means though those thoughts that filled her mind were entirely unknown to him as the silence settled between them.

Tetradore was hardly prepared for that soft sigh as she tucked her hair behind her ear, admitting the...difficulties that came with that makeshift plan. She was hardly the first Were he'd come across who struggled with the shift, the Alpha blood flowing within his veins often enough, once that dominance was established, to make such a point moot. It was, however, the very details of the aftermath of her transformation and too her inability to regulate her own temperature that prompted a frown to his features. His fingers drummed lightly on the steering wheel in front of him in thought, though this was not the only avenue available to them...it was the easiest. A soft breath left his lips as his gaze turned back towards her. "How...big are you...exactly?" He inquired, his brow rose with the question. Though teleportation was feasible, Tetradore wasn't sure how many chances he'd get to step into that warehouse that the reptiles were being held within. God, how it would ruin their plans if she was some twenty-foot long python. After all...if her sister was a snake...it was likely she was too, wasn't it?
