East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

East
She watched as he clearly began uncomfortable with her presence so close to him. She felt a slight shift in the air and knew it was him, he was trying to get her to back up but Serika would have none of it. If he wanted her farther away he would have to back up or push her. She watched with a small on her face as the wind surprised him but what shocked her was when he took a few steps closer to her to look at the knife, they were now right in front of each other and that made Serika a little uncomfortable.

With that she turned on her heel and made her way to the back room of the store pushing boxes around to make a opening in the middle of the room knife still tightly in her hand.

"Now, this knifes were used for sacrificing things like animals and even at times people to our anesters to thank them from the power they give us. But sadly I'm not in the mood to sacrifice someone so we shall take the easy way out."

Standing in the middle of the room now eyeing the knife in her hand she look over at the vampire at the door. " I hope you have good control on your blood lust, I'd rather not die tonight." As she spoke she pushed the blade into her hand and watched as it easily cut into her flesh. The little witch closed her eyes and began chanting as the blood that was now dripping down her hand and on to the floor formed a thin circle around her.

The wind began picking up around them and a smile began appearing on her face before she was thrown from the circle and into the wall across from the before slumping to the ground her hand reaching up to touch her bloody forehead.

She looked over at the man her eyes full of confusion, "why would the anstesters hate you, care to explain why they are angry with me for helping you." As she spoke she got back on her feet and walked over to him, acting like being thrown at walls was a daily thing.
