East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
The hazel hue of her irises stared down intently at her fingertips in an altogether baffled manner. Abigail was absolutely positively CERTAIN that her soul was not a dragon. In fact, she was pretty darn sure it was a red panda. That's why she turned into one...right? If she had a dragon soul then she'd turn into a dragon -- RIGHT?! It made perfect sense to the young girl's scientific mind. After all, how could you have a dragon soul and turn into a red panda? Not to mention Abigail was pretty sure a dragon soul was just something he'd made up in the first place. She'd never even seen a dragon. Her insistence that she didn't have the soul of a mythical creature, however, saw Mr. Magician pause in his counting of...money? How did he get that? She hadn't noticed that. Maybe he'd magicked the money out of his hat? She eyed the bright blue of his gaze as he looked up at her with his head tilted, only to insist he was pretty sure it had looked like a dragon. Well...she could disagree with that. It certainly hadn't looked like a red panda! That was for sure! "I'm a red panda." Abigail informed him with a firm nod of her head - the girl entirely certain of that. She watched inquisitively as he folded up his magicked money, only to shove it within his pocket.

The crowd had all but left, leaving the pair alone entirely though Abigail was hardly perturbed by that in the slightest. In fact, she hadn't even noticed it when she still have a BUNCH of questions floating around within her own thoughts. Ones she was determined to find answers to. Abigail hardly anticipated the offer for a drink - the very question caused her own head to tilt to the side in brief consideration before she readily agreed. After all, a drink sounded rather nice, especially after all of that super duper hot fire. It seemed like such a nice thing to offer that it would be impolite to say no. Any other comment he might have made, however, was cut off immediately by a complete onslaught of questions swirling around in her mind. What had happened to Mr. Lulu? Did SHE now have fire powers? Could she become a true firefox as her species was so known to be called? What even was this dragon thingie he so insisted she had the soul of (even though she was still sure she didn't...still). With all those queries upon her mind, Abigail had completely forgot about introductions! Shame on her! "Oh! Oh, sorry! My name is Abigail. I'm pleased to meet you, Sly." She answered all too quickly, certain her parents would be disappointed that she had forgotten again to be polite before her curiosity got the best of her. And here she had thought she was doing so good to break that habit!

Her hand easily fit into his own in a brief handshake before her hazel eyes turned down towards the end of the street he'd gestured at. The young woman was quick to fall into step with her companion, even if her gaze near constantly wandered in an effort to take in ALL the sights as they passed them. It was the sound of her name upon his lips that caused her attention to turn...well...attentively back towards him. She blinked as she stared at her companion blankly, his words almost slow to sink in. "Aww...really? I wanted to be a firefox!" Abigail commented after a moment with an all too audible sigh, the disappointment entirely clear within her voice. It hardly lasted long, however, before she was distracted by a far more interesting fact. He...was a warlock. A REAL LIFE MAGICIAN. Well, she already thought he was a magician but now he was a Warlock Magician! Which was like...better. "I've never met a Warlock before." She informed him with a soft gasp, the hazel of her gaze so wholly focused upon him. In fact, Abigail had also never truly discussed abilities with anyone before -- not even Arlo and they talked about like...everything.

"Can you do anything else or just make fire creatures? I can do lots of things but...I never actually...do them..." Abigail's voice trailed off in consideration. Why didn't she use her abilities like he did? Though, she couldn't really magick up a super cool doggo of FIRE. But she could make some pretty rocks or something...that was kind of neat right? I mean, maybe not as cool as his powers. Her thoughts of powers, however, were distracted by that soft snort from her companion's nose as he inquired after her question of what a dragon was. A look of skepticism crossed her features as he insisted the thing he had made at the end of his show was a dragon. "That doesn't look like any dragon I've ever seen." She insisted, her lips pursed ever so slightly in thought. "Our dragons are all....snakey..." Her finger reached up to trace that pattern in the air, as if it would somehow clarify the difference in what he had shown her and what she was used to. That, she was sure, was a REAL dragon - or at least the ones she'd seen decorate the front door of the only restaurant in the town she'd grown up in. She hardly noticed that they had arrived to their destination until Sly led her up to one of the outdoor tables. She watched as he pulled several bills from his pocket, only to inquire after...her...poison? Why would she want poison? That didn't sound very good! He definitely shouldn't be drinking poison. Hm...what did she want to drink....Oh! She knew EXACTLY what she wanted! "Apple juice!" Yes. That would be perfect.
