East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Serika sat there listening to the people move around her at a quick pace all to willing to get back to work in a hurry, not wanting to waste a precious moment of there day. Un like them Serika like to take her time in things, this is why she was so content in sitting there speaking with the vampire. Serika was the type to give everyone a chance and yes this has gone wrong in the pass but who was Serika to judge and think all vampires were evil only because one tried to keep her in a cage and drink from her, tho she believed it would be okay for her to do so. Serika didn't mind the company of the vampire sitting in front of her he had not made a move to hurt her and had been nothing but nice to her seen's they meet. That must say something about him no?

When he spoke about the irony of what she had just said a saddened look befell the girls face before a force smile made its way on to her lips, "Do you really believe that because you have no blood running through your heart that you can not love?" Marcus had once believed the same thing, then he met the little spite fire and they fell in love. Serika had always held on to his memory and still had it to this day. Her ancestors wouldn't let her forget that she had broken a rule and fallen in love with a "tainted" one.

A smile small made its way to her lips as he shook her hand and spoke his name, Erik. Her good mood as slowly coming back to her before he went and made a stupid comment about her challenge. This was one reason Serika might not like the vampire in front of her, he was testing her patience with with threats. If he posed a threat to Maria she would boil him from the inside out, knowing this wouldn't kill him but it would easily give her a chance to end him.

Her body relaxed slightly when he said he would touch her only to chuckle dryly a friendly smile making its way back on to her lips as she watched him closely. "You sure know how to get a girl angry don't yah." Her mood had easily gone back to being calm and friendly quick. It was something Serika was used to doing, no need in being angry longer than having to. " So Erik, what has brought you to Sacro?" While they were sitting here why not get to know the guy right?
