East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

It was hardly surprising that the enigmatic man might take an interest in a new establishment materializing in the downtown portion of the metropolis - a part of the city that he tended to frequent. The rumors that the establishment happened to be run by a coven no less certainly coaxed his curiosity, even though he knew all too well that he was stepping into another's boundaries. Still, the allure of it all called to him too much to simply be ignored, dragging the Englishman into the cheery warmth of Red on the Water despite the winter that still raged outside of those glass window panes. Sebastian was content enough to settle at the bar, his crystalline eyes sweeping the establishment to note which of the patrons were of his species and those that were not. It was hardly difficult to find the so called 'man-of-the-hour' as he happened to be, surrounded by his much loved patrons. Making note of him was all that was necessary for the male vampire to decide to ensure he carefully avoided any further scrutiny of this coven King. Instead, the incubus like creature was more then pleased to provide his doting attention to the waitress that lingered beside him and the bartender in front of him, weaving his careful dance with flirtatious lyrics that brought pink hues to their far too alive cheeks.

It was this world that he lived in, his honeyed words spinning that intricate web with a spider's ease. He stole every moment of their time that they were willing to give, coaxing them forward by taking an interest in them. Some nights, and some women, hardly required his abilities to bring them back to his plush Victorian room in the Witchery - a hotel that he had been remiss to leave despite the rather large expenses his extended stay happened to acquire. His sparkling smile and foreign accent was clearly enough tonight to bring about those girlish giggles and for a while, Sebastian was content to watch, to pick his prize from the few that so seemed to fall to his charms. It was with this lingering thought in mind that Sebastian found himself no longer alone. In truth, he hardly anticipated the matron of the rather fine pub to take an interest in him, especially when he was all too keen not to draw the eye of her partner in crime.

His pale blue gaze turned upwards towards the girl at her nearby presence, recognizing her waves of auburn with surprising ease. Her comment alone brought a warm simper to his masculine features. "Ahh..." He replied in an almost lazy fashion, as if he was the Cheshire Cat himself. If it isn't the girl who wanted love."It was how he remembered them best - by their wants, their needs, and she was no exception. He hardly dwelled on the fashion at which she had rejected him. Oh no, his voice still instead held some hint of vague fondness for her, in some fashion or another. "You not the same as you were before." Sebastian observed with a critical eye as he watched her fingertips played with the edge of the bar. However, whatever knowledge he had gleamed from her simple 'hello' he seemed keen enough to keep to himself, instead willing to turn his attention to her second inquiry. "And what do you have here for those like us?" He inquired, his eyebrow tilting upwards ever so slightly at the conspiring word.
