East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Anna-Marie Belrose

Like any true predator, the small movements of Sebastian trying to guide the woman around Anna caused equally as small subconscious movements shifting her weight from one side to another in order to block them. With some things Anna was still very much a child but when she set her mind to something there was nothing to divert her from attaining that goal. What followed really was inevitable since Sebastian had been the first vampire in her travels that had played a game with her and like a child she would seek him out again and again.

The woman once wrapped around Sebastian gaped at Anna as she the child stood there not even acknowledging her. Only when the woman's lips moved as if to speak did Anna's icy blue gaze slide over to the adult blonde. That simple look from Anna, cold and daring caused her to snap her mouth closed and scramble off down the sidewalk without even a backwards look. Anna had a moment's hesitation where her instincts told her to chase after the fleeing prey but the want to play a game won out. Again that innocent smile graced her features, her eyes full of delight at the prospect of another game. "You didn't like my game. You said you'd pick a game this time."

Anna's black buckle shoes clicked against the cement as she finally moved from the spot she had rooted herself to with great restraint. Her blonde wavy locks bounced as she skipped in childish joy around Sebastian humming the nursery rhyme Ring-Around-The-Rosy. "Don't you know any games? Didn't you play games with your maker? ...How old are you? Do you live here? Do you live with other vampires?" Of course now that she was happily the sole person with Sebastian she was only too happy to relax. As a result came the spews of endless questions that children are known for.
