East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Nadya waited patiently for her brother to contemplate whether or not to join them on the tour only to watch him walk away without so much as a backward glance. If she was surprised she didn't show it. Nadya rounded her attention back on the new fae, "Don't take it personally." She commented noting the girl's reaction to her brother's absence. "He doesn't do anything unless it was his idea first." Nadya's shoulder rolled in a slight shrug. "Now, where were we? Oh yes, your clothes." Once more her gaze raked Sam's form. "Those clothes are way too mundane and you'll stand out like a sore thumb. Even the customers here are well dressed. You can dress over there." She motioned to a folding screen near the rack of clothes that the dress had come from.

Patience was something Nadya had more of now that she had the twins but it only went so far when it came to running her business. She became slightly antsy waiting for Sam to dress, hardly waiting for the girl to step out from the curtain before ushering her from the dressing area out onto the main floor of the burlesque. "I can't offer many answers concerning being a fae but the girls that work here can. We've built a family here; working here means we take care of each other." Nadya's gaze drifted over to the stage where the dancers were in the middle of a number as she led Sam through the tables packed with customers. "Don't get this place confused with a strip joint. I have a strict no full nudity and no touching rule with the customers." She paused near the back of the room to give Sam some time to take it all in. "If you ever have any trouble though you can always go to Finn, he's the bartender who is doubling as security right now."

"Just the woman I was looking for." A gentleman stepped over to the pair with a broad grin wearing dark jeans and a navy long sleeve button down shirt that had the sleeves folded up to his elbows. "Did you think about my proposition, Ms. Tetradore?" Nadya smiled in greeting at the man though it seemed strained. "I've been busy. Sam, this is Theon, he works in the entertainment business as well. He wants to record the dancers...make videos to sell." It was hard to read off Nadya what she thought about it though Theon didn't let his charmingly crooked smile fade as he looked from Nadya to Sam. "I keep telling her it will expand her client base." "And what a bonus if you're in the video. What I wouldn't give to see what ripe body is hiding beneath that dress." Oh such lusty thoughts ran rampant through his head every time he looked over at Sam from his conversation with Nadya.
