East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Lucian's knuckles moving to rap against his boot see the dark eyed deviant's gaze move readily to the shoe, head tilting slightly once more as the man proceed to stamp his rather large foot against the floor of the truck as they came to a halt, eyes moving to offer him a blank look entirely at his definition of kicks, seeming utterly lost before he moved to simply tap his own foot before stamping it abruptly against the floor of the truck.

"Kicks."

He simply repeats the word, seeming to have associated it with the action, rather then the pair of shoes and yet the grin he offers all the same evidently assures it hardly matters, having some desire to please the other man to a certain extent. It is childish perhaps and yet within the young man remains this innate desire for approval from those around him, a need that would seem to have gone un-meet for so very long and as such one that remains within him, despite having long since outgrown his childhood form. He moves to follow the other man from the truck, seeming almost annoyed to be getting out so soon, the ride within the vehicle seeming to have been by far the most enjoyable he has had in some time and yet within this unfamiliar area he is unwilling, to a certain extent, to be too far away from Lucian. He is protective perhaps, of what he believes to be his own and indeed some part of his mind is assured that Lucian, like the West-side- belongs to him. He likes the other man, is content to use him as a...substitute Tetradore of sorts, having come to enjoy his company, to watch him work and linger within the store when it is he is not away with his Pack, else patrolling his territory. He enjoys having a job, a role, a task- a purpose and as such has applied this feeling of being needed to Lucian himself, thus his contentment with Lucian entirely.

This store however, readily sees him become uncomfortable. It has been years since he has been inside such places, the entirely socialised creature shifting with discomfort now, lingering closer and closer to the other man. He is utterly undomesticated in some sense of the word, allowing himself to be tamed to a certain extent and offer his services to Lucian as his Head of Security, this title earning the older man another grin once more. He hardly understands what it means, more so, he simply delights in having...something, title or otherwise, committing such words to memory as the other man and woman exchange conversation, Tobias attention far more taken with the clothing itself, the flashing of silver on buttons and zips seeming to draw his attention until the saleswoman sees fit to circle him, dark eyes narrowed instantly in a manner noticeably predatory, though indeed perhaps only Lucian will notice such things, the other man a predator in much the same manner as a growl of sorts latches within his throat, instantly disliking her circling before she produces a measuring tape, proceeding to attempt to measure one leg, her efforts earning her a cuff over the ear as he bats at her once more.

"You...stop that!"

The saleswoman however, seems determined to carry on, despite the fact he has very near slapped her, head tilting slightly once more as he regards her, Lucians own lack of concern in regards to the measuring tape seeing him allow the activity, eyes remaining against the other man, seeking any sort of sign he may be allowed to attack this ridiculous woman until her words draw his attention.

"Where is this...cake?"

Evidently common phrases are lost on him as those clever dark eyes search for this aforementioned cake before the woman seems fit to demand he follow, the boy remaining rooted to the spot. He does not take orders from women, eyes narrowing once more before his attention returns to Lucian, the nod the man offers seeing him move forward at last and towards the dressing room. The small, cage-like box she sees fit to direct him towards however, sees his eyes narrow once more.

"No."

It is the only answer he sees fit to give and indeed, Alpha or not, even Lucian may be unwilling to persuade him of this as the woman returns with a number of different jeans and shirts, waiting patiently now for him to head into the room as he simply selects the first pair of smoky grey fitted jeans from her before unzipping the pair he currently wears right then and there, evidently seeing no reason at all as to how or why this might be inappropriate. He sees Tetra and Nadya all the time, nakedness is normal for most Weres and yet the shriek from the saleswoman evidently surprises him as she hurriedly moves to cover her face. He simply snorts, ignoring her as he moves to remove his shirt, tossing it with his worn jeans, selecting a smart navy blue shirt from the clothes the woman still tries to offer with her eyes closed before he proceeds to dress himself once more.

"Yes?"

He turns to Lucian once more, clearly seeking the other mans approval, the fitted jeans and dark shirt a far improvement on his previous look. The saleswoman still blushing profusely behind her hand.
