East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

aiden tetradore

His feet padded nearly silently across the floor of the small flat, the girl's cheery voice ringing in his ears and yet, the male hardly offered her any sound of reply. In fact, the fellow had made it halfway into the kitchen before she had actually bothered to turn around a face him, her cheeks bleeding a hue of red nearly immediately at the sight of his nearly naked form - not that he thought the towel particularly counted. Nudity was a norm in their life, the shift often left them in precarious situations to the point that modesty was often drained from their morals. Tetradore was hardly any different. Instead, a hint of amusement filled the void of his usual indifference. It was the only marked thing that might suggest he even recognized the discomfort that he had provided to her and yet, despite it all, he hardly made any gesture to make her feel more at ease. Rather, the man pulled out the chair from her kitchen table, settling within it in some effort to find comfort despite his wounds. The only saving grace perhaps was that the towel was still faceted around his waist, though how long it would hold without being adjusted was another matter entirely.

His amusement at the situation, however, hardly lasted long, replaced quite quickly by the small ebb of irritation at the mention of his sibling. A soft snort left his nose, "Nadya likes to pretend she knows what she's talking about." His soft, velvety baritone voice echoed in response, clearly not appreciating whatever knowledge his sibling had imprinted within the head of the young fairy. "Although your surprise leaves me wondering how you expected me to shower?" Tetradore inquired, a brief simper twitching at the corner of his lips. He was teasing her, naturally, it was the smallest display of the man's perhaps rarer impish nature - there one moment and gone entirely the next. Instead, Tetradore's emerald eyes turned towards the rising sun, the light drawing out the various shades within his irises. "You should get curtains." He muttered softly, more to himself then really to the girl present. It was the only words he offered her before falling back into the silence he was so known for. It was normal for him - the stillness and all that came with it.
