East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

The stars in their orbits

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

For as much of a pleasant front Nadya held she trusted either party in front of her about as much as she could throw them. This was her business and she didn't particularly like squabbling in it. The moment Nadya came upon the two the energy crackling between them was distasteful. Part of her simply wished to tell them to just whip it out and measure already from the way their gazes sized each other up. She gave a soft grunt in Frost's direction at his response. Nadya's delicate hands braced briefly on her hips as her attention narrowed at Frost, since she blamed him for nearly most disturbances now, then turned to the newcomer to offer her welcome. Her hand left her hip to politely shake the offered one of the woman. "Yes, pleasure to meet you and he does seem to have that only too helpful trait now doesn't he?"

Her chocolate gaze flickered between the two though as she withdrew her hand. "As much as I would love to see who would win this battle of wills, my business isn't the place. There's no toleration for powers within these walls so if you want to continue your little dance you two will have to go outside." The collapsing of customers didn't go well with keeping the promise of being a sanctuary for all. If she could hire a powerful enough witch to cast a spell over the building to mute all powers she would, but alas she had to rely on the willingness and good-nature of her patrons to abide by the rule which meant some reinforcing it at times. Nadya plucked at the hem of her robe to draw the fabric a bit tighter around her form. "As for the dances, my lead contributes most of the choreography." Her attention drifted to the stage as she motioned to the female now gracing the floor. "Although, all the girls have the chance to express themselves in the dances if they want." It was only fair. If her dancers felt important and contributing to the dance as a whole then they were more into it. "
