East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

fading into oblivion

kissing death and loosing my breath
Despite the female's location or the company she found herself in, Serafina hardly minded the sensation of her companion's fingertips as they brushed against her inner thigh - so teasingly close to all the areas she might, if they were in the privacy of their own rooms, want him to touch. For now, however, it was a simple reminder of his continued presence and persistent interest within her - as natural as it was to have. A warm simper brushed across her painted sweet heart lips, her long eyelashes fluttering closed over one eye as she leaned her head back so that her dark locks brushed against her lower back, "I was hoping you would think that." She responded in an all too pleased fashion. Serafina wanted to be irresistible, she wanted to be unforgettable and he seemed all too ready to stroke her ego. She could feel him pulling her closer and for the moment she hardly protested - after all, it wasn't as if there was much else to capture her attention. That was, at least, until a very curious girl had managed to do just that. Her head tilted to the side as she surveyed the young fairy waitress, entirely confounded by the girl's simple nature and the fashion at which she so avoided the air heavy with it's fervor.

She leaned in to the fairy girl, her demeanor entirely feline in nature and as her slate tinged gaze eyed the girl in an entirely intense fashion. She eyed the girl in a calculating fashion as she responded with a kind of self confidence that even Serafina hardly possessed. It was enough to cause her to pan back for a moment, a giggle crossing her crimson lips. "My oh, my Davante, haven't we found a conceded one." She state in a teasing fashion. "Pretty things is it?" Her lips pressed together, that amused simper still tugging a the corner of her lips as her attention flittered from her latest prey to the like minded predator at her side. Her eyebrow rose ever so slightly at the tale he wove, his dark nature quite obvious as he spoke of his own experiences with her kind. Dark Prince indeed. Briefly, her attention shifted back to the fae in a small display of inquisitiveness - curious to how the girl would react to such knowledge that her kind was being eradicated. Frankly the news wasn't terrible new to say, after all they were all hunted in the same undeniable fashion. "I think you're frightening her, Davante. Don't chase off my play toy." She spoke in a sing song voice, her lips pressing together ever so slightly in a pout.

Thankfully, her self proclaimed plaything hardly found the man's announcement terrifying enough to abandon them all together, instead willing to stay and offer her name exactly as they had so bargained. "I am Serafina and this handsome gentleman is Davante - we're witches you see. Magic is our specialty." She winked at the youthful female in a conspiratory fashion. "Now tell me then...Samantha." She began, drawing out the syllables within the girl's name. "What here is so extra special?"
