East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

TRUST MY RAGE

trust my rage
It's the unspoken truth of humanity, that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power, for identity. You were made to be ruled. You will always kneel.

One always assumes that anyone working in a place like this has done so for a long time and yet he fancies that he sees a bit of hesitation on her part. Nervousness? Possibly. It was either that she wasn't used to doing this - which he still didn't mark off - or that she sensed something about him that could tip her off. Drago did not really hide his identity and yet found that by not trying to conceal himself he usually yielded better results. Some supernaturals figured if they fought back, stood up against him, that they would have a better chance. There had been one vampire - just once, mind you - that had managed to escape his clutches. He had never reported it to the Council. They didn't need to know his failures, only his success. Still, most ended up dead rather quickly, but he wasn't quite ready for such sport yet. Death and life, such powerful forces. It was a heady feeling to control them but wouldn't it be even more so if he could control another?

That is his desire. Control. Power. He is a tyrant stuck in the body of a mortal, a god waiting to be unleashed. With appetites that were demanding and that remained unsatisfied as of yet. But looking into the almost innocent face of this girl he finds that they may come to fruition. So he smiles back at her, the lazy smile that is his signature, and his dark eyes follow her as she sits down next to him and places a hand strategically on her bare thigh.

In one swift move he sits up, scooting closer to her now so that their shoulders practically touch as he leans towards her. Invading her space, drawing her in and suffocating her, one hand reaching out to ever-so-slightly rub across her thigh almost as if he had not touched it. "I'll bet you could. I have plenty of money for it, if you are willing," he purrs, lips near her ears a moment before he draws back, waiting to see if his ruse will work. He has to get her away from all these people before he can take her, snatch her like candy from a children's Halloween bag. "I am Drago, dear," he replies smoothly, not fearing giving his name. After all, HE is the Dark Hunter, one who wishes not to kill at the moment but to... experiment. It was time for him to take control of his destiny.
