East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

there are as many truths as stars in the sky, and everyone of them different
perhaps that is the only real truth

It was unfortunate that as soon as she arrives she has to go knock someones drink all over them. Mortifying actually and she can feel her face flaming, a trait that is not common to Sorcha for she is not prone to embarrassment. Normally she is a smooth talking entrepreneur but in this moment she is just a clumsy, out-of-place witch in a room full of other-world creatures. That didn't bother her so much like it did Amaya for she had dealings with all sorts and was fast growing used to the business of them. Vampires and Weres but maybe she would meet a fairy tonight. The idea had a sort of glamour to it - ah, the puns! She had already seen one she had met before - Erik, and had kept her eyes peeled in hopes that Booker would show up although the chances of that were slim since he was human. It was strange to have a crush, to be unable to stop thinking about him while she worked, to crave his presence.

The other woman reached out at the same time and together they managed not to topple over. Sorcha grimaced at the sight of the drink on Amaya, feeling foolish, but she tried to cover as best she could. Unfortunately there was nothing she could do to fix it but Amaya did not seem to be too put out, pausing to stare at Sorcha in a surprised manner before she smiled. Her next words made Sorcha blink in uncertainty for a moment before she began to grin, her own embarrassment not transferred onto Amaya. "It's okay, I have a feeling it is the Mojito talking," she jests, gesturing to the spilled drink. Still, she hadn't yet met a witch in the city and it exhilarated her. "Don't worry about it, maybe I'll be drunk by the end of the night too." She gestures to the counter and seats herself next to where Amaya had been sitting before, hoping the woman would take a seat. "You are the first witch I've come across in a long while. I'm Sorcha."
