East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

As much as Nadya wanted to immediately lay into Frost with the information that Tetradore had shared she refrained. She played Frosts' game as he played hersâ€"they were quite the pair seeming to constantly be dancing about each other. So she obliged Frost, doing what she did best and taking over the stage with a presence unlike the other dancers, slowly making her way to where the arrogant man lounged in one of the chairs. By the time the music stopped and Nadya was left standing in front of Frost it let the anger seep into her body and, had she had Tobi's power to partly shift, there would be a tail lashing back and forth behind her.

Nadya didn't expect any less of Frost what with his weaving of tales but she stood there all the same, chocolate eyes narrowed absorbing every detail of it. The mention of Alexis did cause her a bit of confusion. Of course Nadya had met the fox before, the first time saving her life and the next some time later with Raven in a shopping store. Alexis did not seem the personality to be associating with Frost. Her hand lashed out to snatch the top hat she had chucked at him from his chest, tossing it off-handedly back to the stage, "Oh I know Alexis and while she's not a part of the pack I know Raven is territorial over her." That much she had been able to glean from their interaction. As to Raven's feral nature Nadya had never witnessed it though had dealt with the defiance of the wolf more than once that had she been in Tetra's position would have reacted against. Given Frost's personality that much wasn't hard to imagine and couldn't exactly bring herself to fault him for it. The severity and words exchanged were the problem.

She let him finish his tale before stalking the two steps closer so their knees brushed and she bent over to poke a finger to his chest accusingly. "We both know you don't do anything without reason. Nothing you do isn't calculated. You know your strength just as well as you know your weaknesses. My brother will and has only ever tried to keep his family safe. I will do the same." Her gaze searched out what little of Frost's that she could, the heat in frustration clear in her eyes. She took in his alabaster skin and shock of white hair in such stark contrast to hers. The ghosting memory of his lips on hers and the heat that his power had spread through her body was trying to distract her from the matter at hand due to their close proximity. "He told me to stay away from you." Nadya finished much calmer that time, her words barely a breathy whisper.

Nadya removed her finger from Frost's chest but did not draw away. "You haven't harmed me or the twins. But...if I can't guarantee my family's safety being in your pack then I can only protect them from within it. You'll have to find someone else for whatever...void...you're trying to fill." Frost may not be a threat to her but he was clearly a possibility to her brother. The only way she would ever leave her brother or even Tobi would be if she knew they would never be harmed. If that meant being on the front lines at their side more than she would do that and her eyes gave that sincerity away.
