East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Alexis, evidently, was entirely new to the notion of drinking- her laughter almost obscenely loud as several people moved to glance in her direction before she proudly proclaimed that she had stumbled upon the barely concealed meaning behind his own costume, the softest roll of his eyes the only true indication of his inner thoughts he cared to express.

"Yes Alexis- how astute of you."

His words remained as ever plain and bland as they tended to be, the thin veil of sarcasm that intertwined within them surely missed by the young woman whose slender figure and slim waist seemed to only be further assisting her downward spiral into intoxication. Her slurring words only further accentuated the point within his mind, the girl proceeding to loudly accuse him of not keeping his hands to himself, violet eyes flickering briefly towards Alexander before returning to the vixen- unwilling to press entirely to much upon whatever boundary of affection the Hunter held for this vixen. At least tonight. That he evidently cared for her was enough to be exploitable should he choose later on, though surely such action would hardly be needed. For now at least the equine is content to let the woman linger between them, even despite his own mild flare of irritability at just how close she continued to incline herself towards the hunter. Instinct, he is assured and nothing more, the natural desire of any stallion to keep his possessions nearby and one he refused to entertain for now as Alexis exclaimed displeasure at his words once more. Alexander, evidently, was anyone's type. The layer of truth behind the sentence, if history was to be believed at least, seemed to bring a momentary simper to the man lips once more. In truth however, what or who Alexander decided to do in his free time and of what gender they were hardly mattered the stallion. That was business he saw no need to involve himself in, besides, he suspected Alexis had no true notion of the Hunter's identity regardless and as such hardly knew the truth of her words. If they were true.

"Yes, I'm sure he is."

It is a decidedly non-committal reply, designed to deflect the girls attention elsewhere lest she see fit to argue with him again before he moved to hand her another drink as she carried on about her clothing, hoping to distract her further with this newest acquisition although truly how much more alcohol the woman could take was debatable. Then again it was hardly his issue, he had no desire to allow her to sleep in his home again tonight. Alexander's thoughts seemed to find his own mind smoothly enough, though the sound of the Hunter's voice ringing within his mind seemed to bring a momentary frown to the younger man's face at this unfamiliar touch. Perhaps every other horse and rider had grown comfortable with such communication yet it was one Frost is assured will take getting used to. It's uses however, were evidently clear, something to be further examined later perhaps as he allows the Hunters thoughts to linger before offering his own- a task he is rapidly learning to perfect.

I suppose we will see.

As long as Alexis managed to keep from throwing up her 'limitations' all over himself Frost found that once more he was hardly given to care what the girl did. If Alexander was correct at least, this would be her one and only experience with exceptional amounts of liquor although in truth her...flirtation was hardly unappreciated if only for the vague amusement it provided him. His mention of boats seems to distract the pair, what little of his violet gaze could be seen resting briefly on Alexanders own as the man spoke.

"Perhaps, though I think that is for another night, our companion here seems to be struggling and I could use a coffee. There seems to be little else to do here regardless- your place isn't all that far from here is it?"

His shoulders roll in a simple shrug, the man moving to step forward abruptly and back into the crowd, heading for the door and leaving Alex to manoeuvre Alexis as best he could manage before stepping out and onto the chill of the street to wait for his companions before strolling smoothly down the sidewalk, seeing no true need to offer his equine form as a method of transportation. For Alexander, perhaps, he may well have been willing- yet for Alexis he sees no need for such an offer lest the girl see fit to be sick atop him. The drunk state of the woman seeming to amuse him once more as they walk.

"Alexis."

He waits until the woman's attention falls upon him, those smooth, frosted lyrics ringing out towards her now.

"Has Alexander offered you the truth about his identity yet, hmm? Surely you must know how old he is, guarded though he is about it I see no need not to tell you. His real name is James Bond, the real Bond, the one the books and movies are based upon. That is how he can afford such nice things- all the royalties."

His lip moved to lift ever so slightly, Alexander holding no resemblance at all to such a figure and yet with Alexis so intoxicated the man hardly assumed it would matter. Why not tease her a little?

She will hardly remember in the morning, Alex.
