East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better

His world was washed with red until nothing mattered any longer. The businessmen and their gruff voices and haughty exteriors were nothing more than mere prey in such a moment as this. Even Darien himself had become little more than a source of particularly delectable smelling feast. Usually, Sebastian was capable of keeping those nearly animalistic urges in check. Usually he drank only what he needed, caring for his victims far more than his race generally did, far more than they were supposed to. His tongue gingerly licked every minute spot of blood from Darien's palm. He relished in the man's closeness, even if he wasn't able to express it beyond the fashion at which Sebastian looked up at him with longing. At least, until he felt the drunk man's hand upon his shoulder and then, all that mattered was the pumping of blood so audibly flowing into his veins. In that moment when his teeth parted and his fangs sank into the stranger's flesh, it didn't matter the insults the man threw at them. It was all but background noise to Sebastian until the man's voice instantly cuts off the moment the vampire's venom begun to flush through his system. The silence was a sound that Sebastian knew well, his instincts nearly entirely taking over, his mouth coaxing the blood to flow from the businessman's artery and down his Sebastian's throat.

Minutely he was aware of the fashion in which the man's arm was being yanked away from him but his strength was far more superior than theirs, his hand clenching tighter around the man's wrist, stilling it as he continued to drink with an unquenching need. It had been far too long between Sebastian's last meal. He altogether ignored the continued failed thrashing of the two men, his fingers instead gingerly massaging the business man's wrist, encouraging the man's life force to flow faster. He was oblivious to Darien's gaze on him, just as he too hadn't noticed the feelings that had begun to fester within the fae. Somewhere, in the back of his mind, Sebastian was aware of Darien's fingertips on his body. He could feel the man's chest against his back, Darien's arms looping around his chest. He felt Darien's breath hot against his ear, just as he too heard his name fall from his lips and though it certainly made Sebastian's movements hesitate, it wasn't quite enough to make him stop all together.

It was the sharp sensation of teeth on his earlobe that caused Sebastian to draw his fangs from the man's flesh, his grip loosening enough that the business man's friends were able to easy pull his wrist from the vampire's grasp if they so tried. Slowly, Sebastian leaned into Darien's embrace, his tongue ran over his lips, licking every last ounce of blood he'd so brutally stolen from the business man's veins. His gaze slowly turned upwards towards Darien, his fingertips reaching up to brush ever so gently across Darien's cheek before Sebastian leaned upwards. His lips met Darien's, catching the fae's bottom lip between his and with a soft caress his tongue slid across his lip, cleaning it of the blood that so called to him. He broke the kiss only to utter in what was but a carnal whisper, "You taste so good." And then he leaned in again, this time catching Darien's top lip between his to too run his tongue against it.

Sebastian was all too aware of the blood running through Darien's veins. It would be so easy for his pointed canines to pierce the man's flesh, to taste that very substance that he found himself indulging in even the tiniest taste. And yet, something made Sebastian pull away not only from the kiss he had initiated but too from the warm embrace he had quite literally fallen into. His breath was ragged, his dark navy eyes still entirely steadfast upon Darien, caring particularly little about the business men if they so chose to stick around. Instead, Sebastian reached into the pocket of his long jacket, withdrawing from it a single, pristine ivory handkerchief with the initials "SE" monogrammed in it. Some habits, it would seem, still lingered within the Victorian vampire. He pressed the soft material into Darien's hands, visibly swallowing as he made every effort to keep himself from quite literally pouncing upon the fae in the same fashion he had the man only moments before. "Darien...you should go." His voice was void of the charm it'd previously held, his powers entirely subdued by his own animalistic urges. "I don't want to kill you." The truth of his emotions came tumbling from his lips in a rushed fashion, as if urging the man to heed his advice. In truth, Sebastian had developed a peculiar fondness for the fairy, one he hadn't felt the blossoming of in years. He wouldn't be able to forgive himself if his lack of control led to Darien's demise.
