East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

A small, timid simper pulled at the young vampire's sweetheart lips at the enthusiastic fashion at which she was greeted. In truth, her nerves had nearly gotten the best of her more than one time tonight and their 'date' hadn't even started yet. Chizue was hardly oblivious to the fashion at which his hand had started to reach out towards her, faltering mid gesture. Her head tilted to the side in an inquisitive fashion and yet the girl hardly bother to comment on the peculiar gesture - after all, it would hardly be polite. Instead, Chizue watched the peculiar way he tucked his phone into his pocket and with patience the young woman clasped her hands in front of her, her smile still steadfastly present upon her all too fair features. "Well, next time, if I am a smidgen early..." she paused, raising her hand to put just a little space between her fingertips to illustration just how much earlier she'd have to be, "...and you a little later, maybe we'll both be right on time." There was an entirely jovial glimpse to her features at the young woman's response, clearly making an attempt to be optimistic despite the anxiety she held towards her situation.

Her head shook side to side ever so slightly at the mispronunciation of her family name, her dark locks swaying with the movement. And yet, the girl was hardly insulted in the least. "You're close though! It's Chee-zu." She tried to form the syllables as clearly as she could, though in truth, she hardly expected him to get it correct. After all, the sounds of her name were entirely foreign to this side of the world just as she too was foreign to it. It was perhaps that difference that made the demure girl entirely willing to accept sharing her name with a particular dog, even though she wasn't terribly fond of the long haired creature to begin with. Chizue brushed the mispronunciation aside, a weak smile still held upon her features at the conversation shifted to food. The young girl's eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly at the boy's mention of how hungry she must be, a small glimpse of confusion crossing her fair features.

It took Chizue a moment to realize that he didn't know. They didn't tell him. It took her a moment to decide whether or not she wanted to impart this secret upon him. After all, she didn't want to scare him with the reality of what she was, even if she was rather atypical compared to the rest of her species. Instead, the young woman merely listened as he begun to discuss almost without pausing to breathe his concerns for the restaurant that he'd chosen for the pair before the topic shifted from ice cream to the sheer amount of of food the poor man intended to consume. It was enough to bring a giggle to the young girl's lips, her hand raising gracefully to cover her mouth as she laughed at the sheer ridiculousness of the notion he'd presented her with. Her head shook ever so slightly when she was finally given the chance to speak, "No, no, Italian is fine, really. Though I think the ice cream sounds really good too - maybe after?" She inquired, her head tilting to the side ever so slightly in the process.
