East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

and the stars in their orbits shone pale through the lightof the brighter, colder moon

Keeping up with Tobias' attention span was like trying to herd cats; it was tiring and likely to get hurt along the way which was why Nadya had learned to simply let him investigate things on his own. Other than trying to dissuade him from mauling innocent bystanders she couldn't and wouldn't protect any of their material possessions that were much too shiny to distract him from. Her watchful gaze tracked Tobias over to the television, flinching at the sudden destruction of the poor electronic before peeling herself away from the door to approach him. "That is..was..a television. It wasn't going to hurt us, it just shows pictures of the outside world." A soft sigh escaped her lips, eyeing the broken pieces momentarily until her attention was called over to his ever flitting about frame. It was obvious he hadn't had much luxury when it came to living as everything from electronics to mundane clothing was a fascination.

"That isn't for you." Nadya plucked the bra from Tobias' curious hands, glaring at the fabric as she tossed it aside, rather to be nude than wear an old woman's clothes. The towel was still wrapped securely around her middle under her arms and they were now secure in a room away from strangers gaze so she saw no need to bother with the clothes right now. Her emotions were finally settling which meant that fire she had felt, the pheromones which had surrounded her and manipulated its targets, was disappearing as well. Tobias would be on his own then, his senses given back control but perhaps still sated and calm from their earlier activity to cause much trouble. When Tobias had moved on to appreciate the bed, Nadya remained with the suitcase and travel bag, rummaging through more thoroughly in case there was actually any valuable items like money or jewelry. At first she wasn't willing to look at him, acknowledge his attempts to draw her attention to an item such as a bed which she was already familiar with.

Another sigh left her lips as his insistence on the matter, setting the bags off to the side with a wad of cash and couple articles of jewelry clutched in one hand, turning her attention to the man-child and his sheer delight of the bed. "It's called a bed." Nadya stated simply, placing her found items on the bedside table as she watched him carefully, regarding his request that she join him with some apprehension. She was tired and sore, perhaps feeling the same that she looked, but was also nervous to settle down when she knew they should find a way out of the hotel...surely they'd be checking all the rooms soon and discover them. Just a quick nap shouldn't hurt and it would allow her body more time to heal. Nadya made up her mind, unraveling the towel from her body and tossing it aside as it would be preposterous to sleep in it, slipping in-between the covers to lay at Tobias' side. "This is an expensive hotel so their beds are nicer, the blankets thicker and softer." She explained, taking the covers to pull them up securely around them, his humanoid purr calming her tense body, relaxing until she was close enough to him that her side brushed his "We can stay here for a little bit, get some sleep and then we'll figure out what to do when we get up, ok?"
