He gives me a lopsided grin, his eyes narrowing at my words and I have a feeling we are having another issue with miscommunication in our words. After a moment, he says his name and though he doesn't pronounce it slowly like he did before, I still get the hint that he believes he's trying to educate me. I give a long sigh and roll my eyes as I reply.

"I know that."

I say slowly, raising a brow at him. He does sit down to the caviar dish but it doesn't take long to change his mind. He swipes at his tongue and the table cloth, trying to rid himself of the food however possible and I can't help the giggle that falls from my lips. When he's done trying to get it off his tongue, he then ses fit to try to get me to eat it, as if I'll fall for the bait mere seconds after watching his reaction. I shake my head of course, telling him I'd rather eat fish. I hate the slimy taste of fish but by the way he perks up, I'd say our taste is very different when it comes to that. Of course, judging by the animal I now know he is, I guess that would make sense. He seems to think I have a fish in my back pocket or something, his stare so intense. I blink at him a few times before changing the subject to the wine. At least that gets his attention.

When I offer him the wine bottle in confusion, he takes up the challenge readily, grabbing it from me. I watch with curiosity as he scratches and grabs at the bottle as if looking for a secret lid. When he has no luck with that, he brings the bottle to his mouth. My brows shoot up as he suddenly bites down, the neck of the bottle shattering and I instantly smell blood. I cringe inwardly. That must hurt, and yet all he does is yell Ouch and offers the broken bottle back to me. I blink at him a few times before slowly reaching out for the bottle. I try to avoid the broken parts and the blood as I grab it and pull it to me, wrinkling my nose up at the smell.

I turn back to him in worry as he starts putting bloody shards of glass on the table.

"You're...okay, right?"

I ask softly. At his comment, I scowl, not sure what exactly to say to that. How do I tell him that he bit the bottle and the bottle shattered, not bit? It's probably not even worth the breath. I sigh and watch as he merely swipes his mouth with his hand as if it's no big deal. He points then toward the bottle, supposedly not having forgotten our deal. I narrow my eyes.

"You didn't eat all of the caviar. You just said I have to drink it, not how much."

If I listen hard enough, I can hear foot steps in the hall outside the room but who's to say they're coming here to this room? Maybe it's just that guy with the cart again. I lift the bottle to my lips, holding it up over my mouth so I don't have to touch the bloody glass as I pour some of the wine down my throat. I swallow fast but stop after a gulp or two, coughing and gagging.

"Ew, it's disgusting!"

I suddenly grin mischeveously and hand it out to him.

"Try some?"

I ask in my most innocent tone.
