Christian didn't find himself curious about a lot of things now a days, but something about the mysterious blonde across from him made him want to know more about her. She was drop dead gorgeous and seemed to have a good head on her shoulders, but did someone just ply her confidence by telling her she had a decent voice or was there more to it? Something told him he definitely wouldn't be disappointed, but the warlock couldn't help but challenge her anyway. When she challenged back by adding money to the deal, Christian couldn't help but chuckle. Finally, he grinned. "I'll make it $300 if you can do it within five minutes into the song." He raised a brow at her, wondering if she'd still take the deal. Something told him she wouldn't back down easily.
To show her he wasn't bluffing, the man pulled something out of his pocket and counted through the roll of dollar bills (mostly 50's and 100's) till he could slide $300 to the middle of the table. At her smile, he knew he was about to be blown away already. He just knew it somehow. His blue eyes couldn't stay off of her as she walked so confidently over to the DJ and whispered something to him before hitting the stage. Everything about her was breathtaking. She looked so natural on stage, like she belonged there. It wasn't long at all before the whole bar quieted down, everyone as haunted as he was by the chilling voice that filled the empty space. Her eyes continued to watch him the whole time and that was the first time the warlock told himself he might have bitten off more than he can chew that night. It felt too brief before the song was over and her beautiful voice faded out, leaving only deafening silence before everyone erupted into applause.
Christian stood with the ones who were still sober enough to make it up, having to lean against the booth himself to stay up but he still brought his hands together sloppily and smirked at her as she moved back to the booth. He slid the money to her as she sat down before siding back into the seat himself. "Guess you are more than just a pretty face. Any other talents I should know about?"
