Despite the varied and significant draws upon the young woman's time she would not have ever sacrificed these moments. The precious moments she carved out for herself within which she might gaze upon all that she had built, all that she had perfected during her rather impressive tenure as the matron of this particular and quite esteemed enterprise. No amount of frivolous paperwork, tireless perfecting, or wooing of the city's upper echelon could ever have given cause for her to abandon this nightly ritual. She was meticulous in all things... her business chief amongst them. And so the striking blonde emerges as if from a fine wisp of smoke from the darkness that was The Witchery's executive corridor. She is smartly dressed, expertly-tailored garments clinging to every titillating feminine slope, and yet more alluring than her garb is the look that glitters unabashed and forthright in the depths of her scrupulously-traveling green eyes: she is, as she always has been, absolutely ferocious.

The lilting of a feminine purr at her wanting ears is enough to coax the matron from her private contemplations. If she is perturbed by the interruption, the evidence does not once traverse the impeccable expanse of her façade. "Nor would he. There are no room numbers here," she purrs, green eyes slicing towards the appealing brunette, seeking eye contact where none is given and finding herself unbothered by the supposed hesitation in this one social nicety. Unbothered for the look that follows is as deliciously satisfying in some offhanded and obscure manner, the candid explanation breeding a faultlessly devilish and knowing grin to the lips of the domineering blonde. It is an axiom that needs no telling; a subtle truth that any witch worth her salt is capable of identifying another of her race without need of explanation or much conjecture.

"Oh, for Mr. Malone. I can take-," comes a soft, twinkling voice from beside the towering matron, the slender redhead flittering to Rowena's side in the prompt and obedient manner which was required of her. Her dismissal is just as abrupt, prompted by little more than the ever-so-subtle turning of Rowena's head, her eyes barely having left the brunette before her. "If you'll be so kind as to follow me, I shall show you the way," she offers in a tone that is so brilliantly and salaciously amiable that it might have convinced the young woman that it was actually somewhat of a request. Her movements are fluid, poised and practiced, as Rowena glides from behind the sprawling oaken desk, sauntering passed her would-be charge and into the labyrinthine bowels of The Witchery and her many passageways. It is only when the imperious blonde has ascertained that they are alone that she allows the veritable siren's song of her voice to coil into the silence of the corridor, her movements unhindered as she traipses on, not bothering to turn to face the woman at her back. "The Edge of the Circle, hm? Quite the charming little place if I'm not mistaken." The compliment is at least in some way remotely genuine, and yet it is but a precursor to what follows. A spoon full of sugar, as it were; for her next words, though just as outwardly charitable, echo the venom that froths within. "I do so hope it is not your intent to bring something... unsavory into my establishment. That would be rather unfortunate, indeed." Unfortunate for whom hardly needed to be said...
