Nobody's perfect and I'm damn near on the other end of the spectrum from perfect. I've killed millions without remorse and I plan on killing at least one more man before I'm satisfied. I've stolen and gambled and broken the law more times than I can count. I have many flaws; I've just gotten good at hiding them. Call it 1000 years experience. I'm sure the girl before me has her share of flaws herself but I bet hers are nowhere near bad as mine. She's human, after all. What's the worst she can do?

I wonder if she's getting that danger vibe I'm told about, the one that makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up or goose bumps. If she is, she's good at hiding it, too. She seems very at ease with me right now, as if seh's reluctant to leave and I can't say I'm not happy about that. I'm really enjoying her company. She laughs as I twirl her around the room and I smile to response, glad to be getting such a reasction out of her. I know she must still be feeling the influence of the alcohol. I just hope I don't spin her too many times for her stomach to handle. I haven't been a human in too long so I don't know the limits of their stomachs anymore. I pull her in close after spinning her out and she murmurs about me being an old soul. More than she can ever know. I merely smile in response as I spin her once more.

We continue dancing as the songs change but she suddenly looks at the clock and exclaims about it being late. I wonder idly if this is a fairy tale and she's the next Cinderella. Got to make it home before midnight? Of course, it's well past so I guess she's got a later curfew. She apologizes, something about meeting someone in the morning. I smirk and shake my head.

"No apologizes needed. You're a working woman. That's admirable in a world where...well, women work more on the corner of fifth and ninth than in an actual building, at least around here."

I glance around at the darker corners, picking out the hookers with ease. It's not hard. They wear their sexual limitations like a brand on their faces. I can tell that she's not so willing to leave but I'm not going to be the bad guy who begs her to stay. Besides, I'm no beggar. When the song ends, she steps away and I let out a soft sigh, as if showing my own disappointment that it has to end. It's been far too long since I've danced with a woman like that. I do note though that she keeps a hold of my hand. I raise a brow but keep my thoughts to myself, not wanting to pull her attention to it for fear that she might release.

At her unfinished question, I smile once more, flashing pearly whites as I dip my head politely.

"I would be honored."

I answer. I wouldn't mind at all walking her home. It would mean getting to talk with her some more and even getting to know where she lives, not that I plan on being a stalker or anything. I am curious though. The simper on her lips draws my gaze but I force myself to look away, not wanting to be drawn in so quickly. She's as likely to charm me as vice versa. I look toward the doors after a time and nudge my head.

"After you."

I give her a little smirk since of course I don't know where I'm going, anyway. Once we're outside the bar, I take in our surroundings before looking back at my companion.

"I hear this town is one of the few left where you can actually see the stars at night. Not too many lights to blind them out or buildings to block them.

I look down and snort softly.

"I'm sorry. Here I am talking about night skies and fairy dust. I must be boring you. I don't usually get myself into situations where more than a few words do the trick. Your job...do you like it?"
