It was perhaps cliche to say that her death had somehow destroyed the young woman's confidence when her maker had pulled her from the limelight. Once upon a time, she had been certain of who she was, of what she was but that world had been entirely closed off from her when her obituary appeared within the newspaper. After all, Chizue couldn't very well come back from the dead without giving away what she had become, and her maker had taken enough time to assure her that such would surely lead to her more permanent death. Now she had to work up the courage to even leave her home town behind her, much less the hotel room that had temporarily become her home. Quite frankly, she didn't know how vampires managed to pass unnoticed in this mortal world. Regardless of her naivety, Chizue was somehow attempting to settle into her new life, even if it meant disappearing on the fridge of the crowd. She'd hardly anticipated to meet him, much less find him willing to engage her enough to list the qualities that he found the most riveting within her own gender.

Her head was tilted to the side ever so slightly as the young vampire listened intently to the list provided to her. There was something almost alluring about his voice, the husky tones seeming to draw her in, matched only by the passion of which he spoke. He seemed to certain on what he wanted, almost as if he was describing someone in particular, as if he had already found her. Of course he had, she would be foolish to really think otherwise and sweetly the young woman did her best to offer him the smallest of simpers. "She sounds wonderful." She commented softly, her chocolate eyes shifting from the man in front of her to her own lap before again fluttering to the crowd at large. She hadn't forgotten his initial comment to 'choose her prize', it was almost endearing in a way, his insistence to ensure she fed, even if she hardly considered it a prize. Confidence was the one trait she had noticed his description seemed to revolve around, and there was certainly no shortage of that here. It seemed that drunken antics brought out the confidence in even the most meek of the mortal races. It was a shame that the alcohol couldn't provide a similar effect for her.

Chizue's contemplations on the behavior of the group at large was interrupted by a singular simple question, one that brought her gaze blinking back towards her companion, as if pulling herself out of her own idle thoughts. "What kind of boys do I like?" She inquired, her dark eyes inquisitively studying his handsome feature. Even Chizue could spot the twist in his lips and the playful twinkle in his eye. He was enjoying himself, toying with her perhaps, and it was that realization which startled the young woman. Her history, when it came to men, was rather short lived, consisting entirely of only ever having two boys within her life. The first, had been a boy next door in her youth, one with which she had played chase with in their 'omg the opposite gender has cooties' phase. The second had been her Maker, though she hadn't particularly liked him by any means. "Hmmm..." She commented in momentary thought, clearly flustered by the question she was presented with. Chizue knew it would have been rude to deny him an answer and if there was anything her oriental heritage was vehemently against, it was such disrespect. And so, instead, the young vampire chose traits she particularly liked about the man in front of her, her voice softening ever so slightly as she spoke, "Kindness...and maybe just a little big of mystery." She held up her fingertips to demonstrate just how much of an enigmatic shroud she appreciated. There was something about him, she reflected in after thought, that made her relax around him, even if she didn't know what it was or had even noticed it in the first place.

"I like her." She stated simply after a moment's pause, gesturing slightly to a young woman settled at the bar. There was a man next to her, talking to her in a very animated fashion whilst she nodded along polietly. There was a certain confidence to the way she held herself. She was toying with him slightly, clearly aware that he wanted her and enjoying giving him a chase just a much as she coaxed his continued efforts with a touch here or a movement there. It was the subtleness that Chizue liked, the sophistication that she failed to obtain just as much as the confidence that he spoke so highly of. She was the perfect compromise and yet, even with her meal chose, Chizue held no excitement for the 'hunt' at hand, there was no glint to her depth-less gaze instead so much as a simple acceptance that this was who she was and what she had to do.
